Stock-on-Loan was 19.5% average during Aug according to Euroclear... probably dropped a bit since then, especially following y'day's news.

Cbr. That's only shorts over 0.5 percent. I would say at least 15 percent of this is out short... probably closer to 20.

placing was 25 APRIL 2017.

Brent was $52 and tullow share price was over 200p.

Now after successful TEN resolution and brent at $59, share price is £1.90. C'mon Tullow, time to wake up!

Still 10 percent out on short at over 0.5 percent. I expect about 15 to 20 percent is out on loan. That alone could drive this to 300p

It makes no sense I know but they do "sort each other out" if they can... Looks to me like we are entering a bull cycle for oil. Most intis will need to load up on oil stocks and will want to get as many as they can near the bottom. The OP moving so quick has caught them out....

The degree to which some have been caught is magnified as here we also have large short positions to unwind, so to go long, they would in effect to "double buy"..

Now on good friends the banks would much rather try and shaft me and you than their mates so they will try every trick in the book to hold this down while they build or unwind their own positions.

The problem they have is events are unravelling fast, in particular the oil price...

A straight answer to your question is "i dont know" but this is a big cap stock, so weeks not days....

I personally thing they have run out of time though... My advice is fill your boots and make it as difficult for them as possible....

gregpeck7,

How long do you think the pivot will take?

Have to admit it doesn't make sense as if it was happening surely institutions etc would be piling in at a cheaper price?
