EI - it would appear to me that they have been dished out to all of em as part of their fee. I dont think it was an individual decision based on enthusiasm and expectation - if it was it was misplaced so far as they have lost 7% since Feb 23rd. Maybe Im wrong - it wouldnt be a first, indeed far from it |
scruff, I've just re-read the RNS.
You are correct, these shares have been conditionally acquired.
Thanks for flagging this up. |
Well they dont actually buy them - rather they acquire them |
At least the BOD here buy a few shares.
As I've mentioned on a number of boards, the lack of directors buying in the sector sticks out like a sore thumb and it's reasonable to question why that is. |
Thanks, all about gilt yields atm.
If someone had suggested 12 months ago the yield on the UK 10 and 5 yr would be at current levels, I would have recommended a rest in a darkened room.
That's what makes markets so fascinating - there are no guarantees. |
Ps segro has more exposure to data centres |
My phone won't let me download the report, think segro has a lower ltv but neither are concerning. Segro pretty much at a multi year support level, bbox looks like it has made a bottom and gone up a bit. Segro had a capital raise, suspect more free cash but I haven't checked |
Divi difference aside, BBOX v Segro - any views appreciated, thanks.
I appreciate BBOX now has holdings other than logistics. |
Chess for me. Never understood the current obsession with poker in pubs. If you get out early you may as well go home. Far more sociable pub card games. 9 card don is my pub game. Love it. Then again bought more BBOX a couple of weeks ago at 149 so Im probably rubbish at poker too. Everything hard work at the moment - one step forward one step back. |
Prefer poker |
Bit of that plus the higher it goes the lower the yield and the more sensitive to rates it becomes SGROs down too but not as much |
Makes sense William. I bet you are good at chess. |
Surely just the usual predictable pullback after the recent strong rise of 15%:

Gilts selling of, as are all euro area bonds on increased defence spending prospects |
Strange. Down around 4%. No reason mentioned that I can see and no comments!!?? |
Yeah I had some spare cash today and chose to put it here. The results were a lot better than i thought and the future is brighter due to the offloading of non core assets that is still to go and the Data Centre move. |
Well Ive been thinking of adding for quite some time and eventually did so last week - bit premature maybe at 149 but I am happy enough - investing is not for the impatient! I can only see this going one way medium to long and everything I see only confirms it. If they increase the divi as they say they intend to and todays hike of - is it 6%? is a start it can only help and todays statement points to an exciting future I think. |
Very Solid results with plenty of upside.
Annoying that it continues to be out of favour price wise but that will resolve once the interest rate environment improves. Just.... slower than anyone hoped for! |
Great results posted intrinsically this must be worth over 2.00 pounds and the income is welcome bonus |
Cheers alter |
Where did you get that? No RNS and only just come up on the Co. web site. |
That looks a very strong statement to me and plenty more to go for. |
