Positive trading update.It will be interesting to find out when and by how much the top line will increase with the approval in US.

I asked about this in the Q&A that followed the June presentation at the time that FDA approval was obtained.

The company said that it had been advised by the FDA that future applications for different products would not have to follow the de novo route which was required for Tristel ULT and that, accordingly, the approval process should be considerably shorter for those products. It also opens up the LatAm market, as FDA approval is apparently pretty much a prerequisite.

It's an amazingly open list. Worth checking with Paton's analysis.
I've been waiting a long time for the first FDA approval. I can't help but think that the follow-up approvals must be faster.

If you have not already done so, you should take a look at the June 2023 North American Business plan which is in the Investor section of the website (run by Wallbrook). It contains a fairly detailed timetable for approvals and product launch. We may also learn more at the Open Day next week for which Piedro has just posted details.

Tristel plc (AIM: TSTL), the manufacturer of infection prevention products, announces that it will hold an Open Day for shareholders at the Company's headquarters in Snailwell, Cambridgeshire on Tuesday 25 July 2023 from 11am to 2pm. The Company will also provide an update on trading for the year ended 30 June 2023 on that date.

The day will provide an opportunity for shareholders to meet the Senior Management team, take a tour of the facility and familiarise themselves with the Company's products.

There's a series of follow-up approvals for different applications and products in the offing, MJ.
Well described in the results.
Given the length of time it has taken for the first one we may get impatient or maybe there will be acceleration.

How is the EPA approval process going, Chlorox seem to be the market leader in USA with plain old bleach, that's a much bigger market I would have thought.

Currently in negotiations with a new partner the original partner was disappointing.India is a market where Indian companies mainly succeed so a royalty based deal maybe an option

I think that it was partly price and partly the inability to meet with the two selected partners due to COVID restrictions. I don’t believe that Tristel has given up on India. On opportunities, I meant to add that the surface disinfection business is still at a very early stage. I see that they are not planning to do much with it on the US for the next few years (finncap note issued today).

If I remember rightly, there was a problem with India over the price. That
would no doubt be the same in South America where 'Bleach' is the cheapest
option.
