Yes originally but have the ideal partner in Parker and the fact they were happy to increase royalties on EPA and Possibly FDA is a good sign

I've always been wary of one product companies
and cannot imagine why anyone would trust a one
product brand.

For that same reason I do not expect to see a
super sales explosion in the US and, as stated
in their presentation,
they will be giving it away.

Commentary

Tristel (+2.3%) is worthy of note as the recovery in outpatient appointments led to a 16% increase in revenues for its disinfection products, and its Duo ultrasound product has been launched into the US, the largest healthcare market in the world. While the market remains focussed on whether Tristel will obtain FDA approval for high level disinfection applications, it seems to be overlooking this significant launch.

Commenting on the interim results, Paul Swinney, Chief Executive of Tristel, said: "We are delighted to have increased sales by 16% on the first half of last year, above our long-term target for revenue growth.

"In all regions the level of diagnostic examinations utilising our products is significantly higher than before the commencement of the pandemic.

"We have now entered the North American market, having launched Duo Ophthalmology in Canada, and Duo Ultrasound in the USA under our EPA approval, and expect the FDA's decision on our De Novo submission in June.
