It's all fine by me - I first bought these at 30p so I have a very nice return and I fail to see why the directors should not. If the performance dips then it is another story but so far they have done a great job and are one of the few companies that seem to actually value their shareholders having been to several of their open days

Here is TSTL in 2018,

- when the share price was in the £2.50 - £3.00 range

I wonder what would make a good indicator
- Issue of Equity vs. Turnover, Market Cap. or perhaps N° of employees?

Here is for MGNS, Morgan Sindall a construction company

- still in the 46 millions after more than one year
- share price from £10 to £20 in one year
- perhaps no comparison

Will Tristel slow down the rhythm when the share price is £10

Tristel disinfectant product wins key US approval
A potentially lucrative product drive in the United States for Tristel plc in Newmarket has been underpinned by receipt of a key approval from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). It originally granted Tristel approval for Jet – its foam-based disinfectant for surfaces – in April 2018.

Well put James188. I've not sold any. I'm here for the long term growth. It's not similar to the situation at BXP. That is moving will expectations of the covid vaccine rollout, in which BXP is involved. It has sold off quite a lot recently with news that the roll out is being delayed by production issues. But the growth in the underlying business is the reason to hold that one as well

All they said was short term weakness with recovery - and then ensued a hiss and fit from all sundry - I don't predict but happy to hold unless it completely loses trend which it hasn't

Maybe people have twigged that there is a huge backlog of routine/elective procedures that need to be dealt with. The so called tsunami. That has to benefit TSTL. The irony is that COVID-19 was initially viewed as a major opportunity (and it is), but the core business is what really counts. I really like the fact that TSTL is hedged either way at the moment. Surface disinfectants is an important play, but instrument disinfection is a proven long term earner. The PE may be high, but I am still adding.

I've been rereading the 'Tristel Open Day – Shareholder Q&A' - 22/07/2020

- it gives a good down-to-earth summary of where the company is at.

- as well as the later 'Tristel Interim Results – Shareholder Q&A' - 02/03/2021

Reading the boards letter I am not convinced that recovery will be quick.

I sold yesterday and will watch the price and the final results with interest as I want to get back in at a much lower price.

Effectiveness of dry hydrogen peroxide on reducing environmental microbial bioburden risk in a pediatric oncology intensive care unit
Marilyn Ramirez RN, Laura Matheu RN, Miguel Gomez RN, Alicia Chang MD, Jose Ferrolino MD, MPH, Ricardo Mack MD, Federico Antillon-Klussmann MD, Mario Melgar MD

Background: Routine manual cleaning and disinfection of the health care environment is often suboptimal. Residual contamination poses an infection risk, particularly for immunocompromised patients. This study evaluates the efficacy of dry hydrogen peroxide (DHP) on microbial surface contamination in a pediatric oncology intensive care unit.

Conclusions: Study demonstrates that DHP was effective in reducing microbial surface contamination and improves quality of environmental cleaning.

The CDC recently changed its stance on how Covid-19 is spread

Previously it had said fomites on surfaces was the cause

Now it says it is airborne droplets

Soon the scientific community will get the CDC to say what the cause truly is :

Aerosol transmission up to 11 metres distance indoors and Covid-19 aerosols stay suspended in the air indoors for hours dependent on humidity levels.

Top Canadian WHO adviser under fire after downplaying airborne threat of COVID-19

The WHO are now looking even more behind the curve with their continued surface spread mantra

They too will soon imo have to use modern terminology like 'aerosol' in their next update

Chartwise 480p looks next imo
