Please be reassured that all of our plans are focused on ensuring that we have the best platform in place to grow the value of our Company over the short, medium and longer term."

Last thing...why hold all the dead cash?? Not needed for present drilling which is-I believe-on hold.
I’ll have it if no-one else wants it.
Please

Bruce founded this company. He knows his stuff. All shareholders must be treated equally. I just don’t get the lack of respect for the share price and the damage it wreaks.
End of whinge

Silly me I keep looking at the information given out by the company.
The Trintes platforms will be connected to the new power cable and pipe line coming out to TGAL so reducing operating costs which have already been reduced significantly by the current management.

TO paraphrase slightly
"the actions taken on Trintes have improved output, reduced cost and pushed out the life of the wells"

"this will soak up the cash pile ".......really...is that a realistic or genuine concern ?

EDIT: tenders are due from two potential rig contractors, a clear timetable has been given(as clear they can be) and design and planning is going ahead.
They have given out all that info in the last few months including the cost and financing.
How can shareholders be confused or ignore this ?

Mushroom here.
10% just doesn’t cut it. Didn’t manage it last quarter and corona has put paid to this quarter.
Is 2020 just going to be more of the same? Where are we actually going this year??
Hedging very sensible.Remarkable costs and B/e . Q1means insurance payment unfort...loss of cash.
2-3 more months of corona to come.
“ uneasy lies the head that wears the crown” ( Shakespeare) so it is easy to criticise. But also easy to prostrate oneself . By G*d I wish I’d bought TXP. Not a clue where Trin is going now.

10% yoy in a small company won’t attract investors. BP/Shell offer 6% risk-free plus growth from here.
We will stat stuck in the Sargasso unless there is something more than this on the horizon. 7000 bopd was talked about not long ago ( Galeota /TGal piped through Trientes. Automomous rig. Dirt -cheap power from cable/ cheap thermoplastic or metal piping/rig planned/Scada) but what’s the real lucid clear situation regarding FInal Investment Decision. It still remains a long long time off especially with SPT.

But i fear the trintes platform is very old and will need lots of maintenance spent on it, this will soak up the cash pile.

Thank you pavey arc.

so if cash can keep increase every quarter, the company will eventually have a market cap worth its cash only, with no debt.

wow, this one cant have to much downside if cash keep increasing.

But it must show on the bottom line, no excuses.

They could if they tried Al..there just doesn't seem to be any drive to do so. There surely must have beeen and still are opportunities to move the company forward other than just drilling to keep up. Why did they need so much overkill on the fund raise otherwise?. Why are they not at least commenting on the gyrations in the SP? I know I am talking to the hand as we all appear to be but who knows what tomorrow might bring...more importantly do the BOD know.

Totally agree marvelman ! It would look shambolic if they started paying a mini dividend at 8p after bending shareholders over at 15-16p! It makes no sense and won't happen IMHO! They need to grow the company and faster than the measly 10 percent per annum! If I wanted 10% I would invest in shell not an illiquid AIM minnow in Trinidad! They need to get some acquisitions or some how move the needle! 300 to 400 increase in production won't do it!

slicethepie, the guy is very rich and by the standards of most here very well paid (too much ---almost certainly).
Have you considered that he is on holiday, taking the edge off the Edinburgh winter, I would be.

They did the presentation rounds (extensive: not just the ones that we have videos for) in October and November and produced a very excellent and detailed trading update at the end of January.

The price continues to fall so there is nothing else they can do except wait for calmer heads to prevail.

You are all being led by irrational posting which, of course, is everyone's right in twitter world but I expect other poster to ignore these outburst........obviously this is a bit of an outburst....pot kettle perhaps but at least this outburst may go some way to balance the others.

For those of you not keen on background research I will tell you that the cash per share was 2.7p at the year end and now easily 3p/share and I can see NO circumstances that would stop it reaching 4p by the end of the year.... so with some predicting a 7p-8p share price it would certainly time to go way , way over any sensible shareholding limit here.

I shouldn't spoon feed like this but the WTI price for YTD has been $56 for the first half of Q1 so if WTI stays about $51-$52 the average price will be c.$54 add in the premium that Trin seem to be getting ($1-$2) some options gain and Q1 looks fine with lots of cash generated and perhaps a couple of HAWs in Q2
A drop in WTI below $50 in Q2 would be a great result for TRIN but the share would probably get marked down with all the other much, much more vulnerable, debt ridden, high cost companies that are loved by small oil investors.

In the YTD I calculate that TRIN has produced 150K barrels of oil at the average price of at least $56 and a breakeven of c $25 you can see that the cash has been coming in.

Just a thought, it would appear that cash, adding to a pile of cash is something that small oil investors just can handle.

EDIT:I will personally be enraged if TRIN don't send out a Valentine Card and chocs to each and every ,very special , private shareholder.......no wait a minute ....I've just realised that since I bought in here TRIN have made more of an effort to inform and promote THAN ANY OTHER COMANY I HOLD ......as someone once said "It's a funny old world"
