That depends on your expectations lol!
I don't think they will be forecasting 6k bbl per day by end of next year but am very interested to see what they are aiming for?

Dis, Yes absolutely but now we have more cash to transfer that 2c to 2p and 2p into production.
I really think we have the capacity to double production to 6000 bbl per day by end of next year and it is these kind of figures I'd like to see.
However tbh the weakness today could be indicative of 'report' leaks and not being such a positive glowing story lol!!

at current levels we are making 2800x71x365 = 72m $ = 54m£ .
80m £ current mcap is an OK price with room to be 2x turnover

DH...I too am hoping but the noise they were making about Galeota felt like a softening up. I have not sold any but do not hold with the resolute confidence I had before the last placing....its 50-50 for me

wtgr marvel I really do not think there will be another placing!
To do such so soon after the last one would be beyond obtuse and I think you or any other investors that think this will be in a minority!
Imho this is simply a case of a few punters taking profits or risks off the table prior to results?
I hope for some positive results plus serious hints about what the money will be spent on (or preferably more than that including expected production profiles) and hopefully the 20p 'barrier' will be broken as a result of this?

Clearly there are those who fear another placing announcement with the interims from our profligate BOD. Who can blame them now that placings are back in the BOD's tool box. I almost recovered the loss from the last BOD foray but 20p has proven to be too irresistible for too many untrusting investors. If we can actually get past the interims without another funding for their next grand idea we should skip past the 20p barrier in quick time...I have my prayer mat ready once agin.

The Saudis have been increasing oil exports to US since Trump met MBS in May, but its more about stopping crude from rising too fast rather than bringing the price down. Some people think republicans are screwed in November elections if pump prices go over $3 barrier which I think equates to about $80 brent. Trump's oil tweet appeared yesterday when Brent was $79.60

Venezuelan and Iranian oil exports are falling fast so Saudis can compensate for that, but Saidis said this week that they are comfortable with $80 brent:

Both crudes look like they could break out here, but on the other hand, Trump probably wants lower gasoline prices heading into the midterms.
Hes already tweeted about prices & OPEC yesterday.
He could continue doing that.
Maybe open the SPR taps.
Doubt he can influence prices longterm but shortterm? Absolutely.

not sure about fundamentals but oil seems ready to break 71.5 this time. Climbing. Would be fun to have interims and great resuts and oil breaking resistance at the same time

I get the feeling the next few weeks are going to be interesting. If we get reform it will open the door to deploy the capital we have accumulated in our war chest. I am amazed how quiet things are here given the potential in the coming weeks.
