20/3/2018 17:30 | All very encouraging. Hopefully we can crack 20p soon. If we do then I can see these moving up pretty quickly from there. 30p would be very nice at some point this year. | the big fella

20/3/2018 16:26 | Seems a lot of the oil traders on twitter were expecting a move lower, instead oil broke out of the triangle upwards. | phowdo
20/3/2018 16:16 | Thanks Spellbrook, so essentially the market is waking up to what has been glaringly obvious for quite a while now. Also today is April’s contract expiration day so that sometimes causes these moves. | mark10101

20/3/2018 14:01 | Shorts over 0.2% in increments of 0.1% should be declared to the FCA. Shorts over 0.5% are made public ( there are exceptions for brokers/market makers ) The public positions are available in a xls file by the FCA or you could use the following site that tracks them: | phowdo
20/3/2018 14:01 | Glad I was not being stupid by asking mesquida...thanks for replying. | marvelman
20/3/2018 13:55 | Marvelman, you have got me there, I really do not know the answer, but I would be interested to hear what the answer is! | mesquida
20/3/2018 13:46 | mesquida May I ask what you may define as a naïve question but one that I have often wondered....would short sellers need to disclose sales if their original stock on loan acquired amounted to 3% of the company?. We have had a few instances of large volumes of stock being sold which has never been reported | marvelman
20/3/2018 13:43 | In theory holdings disclosures should be prompt and accurate, In practise they sometimes aren't. eg: This one is 5 months after the transaction happened: | phowdo
20/3/2018 13:27 | I think that you will find that a holder of more than 3% always has to disclose purchases/sales as he moves through each percentage band. For example, a holder who had a declared holding of say 6.4% would have to dísclose if sales took that stake below 6%. Whether those sales are part of an ongoing sale program is totally irrelevant. Think about it, if what you are suggesting was true, then everybody would use it as an excuse and there would be no disclosures. Now it is just possible that in this case the selling is coming from a sub 3% holder, and so no disclosures are necessary, but given the length of time that Peel Hunt have been operating, and given the amount of stock that has changed hands during this time, I am fairly confident that the selling is coming from a holder who has previously disclosed a 3% plus holding. We shall see soon enough. | mesquida
20/3/2018 13:05 | Sellers don't need to notify every threshold if the selling is ongoing. | mustbefunny
20/3/2018 12:59 | Peel Hunt still feeding this today. We should have had a holdings RNS by now. I really would like to know who the seller is and how many he has got left. | mesquida
20/3/2018 12:19 | I'd like to see 18p get broken then we are away | shrewdmole
