Well, I don't know either of course, but in any job timetables can slip. However, normally most people would update a timetable and give a new target date before the old one passes. So if he's not going to be able to announce by year end as he hoped, I still expect him to say something about when he will present the plan. In the UK, oil and gas isnt the top priority, but it's the main doings in Trinidad economy.

according to TXP CEO, 22nd Jan might be their announcement day - Trinidad conference at that time each year - but as he said, no one knows at this stage.

Their parliament has been busy with their 2018 finance bill. Obviously that's a big deal- goverment can't function without finance and Imbert is finance minister. But that's passed now and parliament sits tomorrow, so we can wait but we might see some news soon.

Was taking the view that relying on politicians to sort out the Tax matter in a timely manner was fanciful and if we just accept the current situation, I couldn't see why we would be worse off. As such, we should still be making money and the next quarter (as Bruce said) can't be ignored. Well at least I hope So.

Trying to understand the T&T Tax issue, so if anyone can help, much appreciated.

Assuming things stay as they are and WTI stays above the SPT threshold beyond the 3 month period. What impact is this to TRIN. Currently we are making money. But now not sure what the tax impact means. i.e. reduce profit per barrel or just reduced profits on the money we would make above the 54USD threshold.

Ross you are right it was last month they raised another 4m from equity, hard to keep track over there. Well, not such a bad thing one TRIN company is leading the way, our time will come.

CERP now £41.5 million surpassing our MCAP, crazy old world......

Edit:

So we close down over 3% on £18k worth of trades wiping £1.2m off our MCAP of £41.7 meanwhile CERP officially closed above us at £42m having had yet another dilutative round of fund raising last week.

Well CERP having a good day, £40m MCAP, compared to Trin at £41m at today’s actual price. Funny old world.

MT - there was a bloke here in Scotland that worked that one out, submitted 10x1 early in the morning and the system reacted to the activity rather than the volume...
he got jailed for market manipulation as I remember, clever I thought!

Here is the reason why, not an insignificant event. Can see Brent well into the 70’s in the coming weeks and WTI nicely into the 60’s.

Last time a director bought it went from 11p to 20p.

IMHO the risk reward is excellent at 15p, even if we don’t get the SPT overhaul promised, a growing profitable AIM oiler with 2700bopd has to be worth more than 15p. Should we get a spark like the SPT reform and possibly some new leases from Petrotrin 30-50p imho. DYOR etc.
