09/8/2024 09:14 | After Ab76 defending them for years while I was criticising them, I never thought our positions would end up reversed! But Ab76 had it wrong then and he has it wrong now. | arlington chetwynd talbott

09/8/2024 08:54 | We have a new 1%+ shareholder - Nicholas Beaumont-Dark who recently purchased 475,000 shares at 62.42p. Perhaps he sees Trinity as a good value way into Touchstone? | sleepy
09/8/2024 08:47 | nocents - I think 7961 is one of my posts? | sleepy
09/8/2024 08:45 | If certain members of the Trin board got upset in the past by post on here, imagine how much they must be loving it now, at us all here, cos of the mess they have created(intentionall | princebuster2

09/8/2024 08:11 | Andrew - thank you for posting Newsday extract nocents - I don’t believe there are any meetings scheduled yet in connection with the LO offer | sleepy
09/8/2024 07:17 | What day is the meeting for the LO vote please? | nocents
08/8/2024 21:49 | Ab76 - for goodness’ sake, what were the TRIN BoD supposed to do about the LO offer? I have repeatedly said that they cannot contract out of their fiduciary duties. Am I right about that or not? | arlington chetwynd talbott
08/8/2024 21:14 | Andrew - as you are aware there is provision in the irrevocables for them to fall away if there is a Competing Cash Offer or a Higher Competing offer. Yes the late arrival of the LO offer complicates matters | sleepy
07/8/2024 11:47 | Ab76 - you are looking at this through the lens of your preferred outcome, which currently is not, objectively, the best outcome for TRIN shareholders. The TRIN BoD have to stay objective - as I said before, they cannot contract out of their fiduciary duties - and they are navigating a tricky situation very well (much to my surprise). TXP has not thrived in the spotlight that has been on it since it bid for TRIN - it now looks as if its tyres will have had a proper kicking by the time matters come to a head here. This is all good for TRIN shareholders - knowledge is power (but cash is king). | arlington chetwynd talbott
06/8/2024 22:59 | Pavey, very well articulated I think you and I are the only two on the same page. It is most disappointing that the big shareholders clearly just do not get it! | nafafa
06/8/2024 21:17 | I am largely keeping out of things here.....I didn't vote for the TXP bid and mentally if not financially I have moved on. Like Nafafa I held TXP but it was some time ago and sold at 150p so frying pan to fire does spring to mind when trading TRIN shares for TXP. The world has moved on since 2015/2016 and people should note that the new bidder was describe in the T&T press as a local firm/company where the others were British and Canadian. As I have said before....if this management were really out to maximise shareholder returns then they would split the assets and sell them off as I can't see T&T objecting if it means Galeota and even BA are developed. New management at TRIN would certainly get my attention and the sad fact is that over the last three years low cost maintained production/decline would have produced much, much better returns for shareholders. It's a funny old world....I came to TRIN because it had cash, a fairly steady production and generated cash.......hmmm....w As I said....a funny old world. | pavey ark
