02/1/2019 09:36 | For his first and only post on ADVFN let alone TRIN it would have been good to see more effort. | mark10101

01/1/2019 08:53 | Happy New Year Trinners, lets see what 2019 offers | spellbrook
31/12/2018 11:16 | Well daid Mark. Trin are deeply lax at considring shareholder loyalty and need to DO something to address it. The company and fundamentals are valued at twice this price even at this WTI.Risked NAV is over 40p !!! And no debt. Well done MDW1. Trinity need to start thinking of loyal suffering shareholders. Some of is for 5 years now!!! This price is nothing less than a giveaway to new investors. What about us?? Solid solid solid as company. But lack of PR beggars belief. Q1 update soon. 2 new wells should’ve been spudded in December and no teason why bopd not on cumulatively higher growth at $15 breakeven. Come on Trin ....give us the first step up in 2019 !!! Shareholders matter. | nocents
31/12/2018 11:09 | MDW1, keep buying please, you seem to be doing the trick. | mark10101
31/12/2018 10:14 | Right, another 50k for me @ 11.925; crazy price and too good an opportunity to miss. Good luck all LTH and Happy New Year when it comes! | mdw1
31/12/2018 08:59 | The market moves in mysterious ways. TXP is being ramped on Twitter and they have their carrot projects to excite. Having owned TRIN for 4 years I have only ever known TRIN to use the stick on share holders despite the fundamentals currently being far superior to TXP and many AIM oilers, the TRIN team need to start rewarding the loyalty many shareholder have shown them. TXP MCAP £16m with -£8m of debt giving an enterprise value of £24m. TRIN MCAP of £45m and net debt +£15m enterprise value £30m. Utterly bonkers some people will spot the TRIN opertunity at this price many wont. | mark10101
31/12/2018 08:40 | Beggars belief the price action TRIN v TXP.. | marvelman
30/12/2018 19:27 | Breakeven $30.50 allegedly. Ave Q4 WTI around $55barrel . SPT is payable Q4. Worked out average paid price per barrel per quarter. Most annoyingly Trin may no longer be selling at normal 8.8% discount but perhaps at a premium according to Heritage/Petrotrin. Impossible to work out likelihood of Q12019 SPT until Trin say what they are selling at. Onshore has to go through Heritage. No debt. At all. No corporation tax due to previous losses. Massive assets. Low WTI is the cause of share price drop and higely overdone. SPT ...who knows...at this price through January it may not be payable Q1. Middle finger to recalcitrant govt. All to play for. No better time to buy ..last time tgis price was low WTI and high debt burden and hedging costs. Now only the manipulated WTI. US oil demand and China cride oil imports are allegedly surging. -26 in Midwest and sub-zero in Vegas and Phoenix ( the latter unheard of). Big drawdowns on the way. Democrats now majority Congress so Trump can’t manipulate like he did.Saudi delivering less to US. Shale on no profit and high credit. Even though I would like to see oil stay here for 6-8 weeks to negate SPT ..( equivalent of $60ish with SPT ) I don’t see how ot can. It’ll put shale out of business again and Saudi won’t hack it. | nocents
30/12/2018 11:02 | Costs around £34/bl inc G&A. @ $44/bl, $39/bl received cash generated = $5/bl No SPT, No debt/no interest to pay. No corporation tax to pay and has a $200m tax asset. | sleveen
29/12/2018 00:34 | I wonder how much cash they'll burn during this low price oil period. | diseasex
28/12/2018 18:13 | Iphone typos. Sorry. | nocents
28/12/2018 18:12 | Ok. Benefit of the doubt. No more impprted oil. All home-grown. Heritage can’t provide it all and Petrottin facility is new storage for export. I will buy into the idea that tgere is a bigger plan here as they need more oil production for export and less gas. If that is in the iffing tgen 2019 may well be what they promised. When is the best time to buy a share? At the bottom or as close as you can get to it. Debt-free means a lot. Completely annihilates that risk factor always present with creditors. That’s why-today’s rise or not-I won’t buy a certain other company. Interesting ..lotscof buys just before close. Trin will not be here long!! | nocents
28/12/2018 15:43 | Nocents, exactly buys lift this as much as sells drop, we just need buying interest to increse and we all know how quickly TRIN moves. TRIN have many cards they could play to generate interest, I am certain they will. Meanwhile Imbert and Khan are confident that 2019 will be a great year for T&T oil industry, they have been working on a plan, lets hope this is the year they finally deploy it. | mark10101
28/12/2018 15:29 | I admit error. One buy of 25,000 shares and Trin rises 0.25p to sell. Small mercies but the proof that 1) there is still interest 2) even individual buys can lift price.3) I have not bottom-drawed this for a month which I should! | nocents

28/12/2018 14:59 | Lol. Sorry about the analogy. This ocean floor is not about to rumble loose. White noise might have been better. Yes I paid for the Placing more than most ...like you. But I would not want CLN holders coverting to shares ( at 6p?) in 4 days time. You only realize loss when you sell. Many have. One or more are selling and realizing now. Their decision and their loss. It won’t be at a profit. Jan 2017 newbies exited long ago or are instis still holding. Txp is an irrelevance. I was just responding to someone’s irrational comment regarding Trin. I don’t usually engage in such things. But if oil stays low then we have a real Opec vs. Trump war and only the stable smaller oilies will survive without fund-raise. Things can turn on a dime. In a week sometimes. Seen it many times with Trin. I ignore Mr. Imbert. But he is a true fool if he does not address SPT. Fools exist. Cameron called the referendum. Blair invited the existence of IS. May called an election . US allowed righing and elected Trumpy!! Etc etc. Trin is in a good state even without SPT restructuring by myopic politicians who fixate on the tree in front. In some ways I hope oil stays at sub$47 for 2 months to weed out unstable shale and Trin companies and shock politicians into action. Heritage or not. Imbert has form and needs to bisit a correction centre. | nocents
28/12/2018 14:36 | Indeed nocents. Not worth responding to the cheap asides but ironic that the TXP share price has been slammed just as hard coming off a 22p share price to just 11.5 currently. I don't doubt that TXP has good prospects if the oil price comes back but if it doesn't that debt will be a weight around their necks. Having said that though I do get irritated by those saying that the decision to wipe out the share price with a placing was a good one "in retrospect" particularly as I helped pay for it for the benefit of those lucky enough not to be holding at the time. People have short memories when it suits them. I continue to be frustrated by the constant selling in this stock but as a rabbit in the headlights I stand firm as bailing at this point would register this stock officially as the biggest mistake in my trading career. BTW your analogy of the ocean floor does feel quite pertinent but perhaps not for the reason you were intending :-)) | marvelman
28/12/2018 14:09 | Considering Trin is being derided on TXP chat-board .....I would like to profoundly extol the virtues of being debt-free. Placings and Rights Issues come unexpectedly as we know. I have been through quite a few. Ride the waves knowing it’s just a tide. The ocean floor is solid. I would not want to be in an oilie that has any credit outstanding right now!! | nocents
28/12/2018 11:05 | Nocents that is not true, TRIN reacts well to buys. But do agree if TRIN do anything this year it would be good to get the trading volume up. | mark10101
28/12/2018 10:55 | Yes. I know. Sad. Result of an rarly 50k sell. Low volume sensitive share. Reacts to sells but not buys.Always has. | nocents

27/12/2018 14:15 | And even using this conservative estimate, we have the global oil markets undersupplied by ~870k b/d for 2019! This is unprecedented! What we are ultimately saying is that the world will be shocked when global inventories continue to draw, because everyone has modeled in a "glut". When that reality wave hits, it will be too late to turn back the tide of undersupply, and OPEC may be less reluctant this time around to push the market back into oversupply to calm the markets. | mark10101 |
