25/9/2018 11:30 | I agree, my only concern is what impact the east coast well outage in June is going to have on H2 production numbers as it seems to take a while to fully recover (based on a graph in the pack). It is a blip and we are back on trend now but the communication around this must be clear | otemple3
25/9/2018 11:09 | A bit of both for sure. Disappointing as they really should have been generating significant amount of free cash in H1. The difficulty is to try and work out what will recur in H2. | the big fella
25/9/2018 10:49 | Currently yes, in going down!!! | otemple3
25/9/2018 10:48 | Well, well - so to turn a profit my TRIN investment is now largely reliant on the 10 well drilling campaign together with higher H2 oil pricing - Oh the irony! Hmmm - it would seem where TXP leads TRIN follows! | mount teide
25/9/2018 10:43 | Oatemple, great post, TRINs volatility will reward the patient to the upside eventually. Rossannan, thanks for the post. I looked at the headline figures yesterday and was very please with the overall shape, you shed some useful light on the details. It is just a snapshot. If oil strengthens further and draws us away from the dead spot due to SPT TRIN will deliver. Remember all the analyst with price tagergs in the 30p's and 40p's are using oil at an average in the low $60. There is a lot more to the TRIN story and as we know TRIN sentiment can change quickly. | mark10101
25/9/2018 10:42 | Ross / Marvelman - The biggest problem here is based on the average price attained during H1 $60 and the quoted breakeven of $28.5 there should in theory be free cash flow of c $15.7 mil. Based on the H1 results the TRIN BOD seem to be spending they cash as quickly as they are generating it. Given there has been a lot of maintenance to pay for and drilling just at the start I was expecting far better numbers to be honest - 0.09 eps at half time was way lower than I expected. | the big fella
25/9/2018 10:38 | 2327 - I am in with trin - but certainly nothing to do with what Malcy has to say lol!!! | dunderheed
25/9/2018 10:12 | Yesterday wasn't a waste of time and money, it was a good session and a rare chance to get face to face with the BoD. It was never going to move the share price as it was a PI session so pretty much everyone there was already invested. The sessions over the next few days will be more relevent to that. Plus there should be updates from ST and possibly Midas which always moves the price. All in all I came away positive yesterday and with the reaffirmed impression that this is a well run company with plenty of opportunities to exploit going forward. P.s. Was stunned when they said the seismic data had cost petrotrin 40-50m!!P.p.s. CRL were you the chap at the back (Colin I think?)? I didn't think you were going | otemple3
25/9/2018 09:54 | Cheers matey. I was wondering if those cheap platforms where they could tie in ten wells were discussed yesterday? This really piqued my interest and caused me to buy a few more recently. | dunderheed
25/9/2018 09:50 | Could say much more. If you need to just ask. | nocents
25/9/2018 09:43 | Ok cheers for that matey, appreciate the feed-back! | dunderheed
25/9/2018 09:38 | BOD very positive and honest. Truthfully. And I am no mug. A lot of false info being spread it seems...I had long discussions. People did not ask enough questions so I had to do it after. Meeting boring but I hate meetings. Nothing being covered up. Growth assured. Budget on the horizon which will promote oil not gas. But I never trust governments. SPT reform?? I doubt it. 72 dollars is good. Looks stable. I hate meetings and the crowd were very subdued but nothing dodgy about our investment nor company. | nocents
25/9/2018 09:31 | So what kind of 'feeling' did u get walking out of the building crl? | dunderheed
25/9/2018 09:16 | Marvelm. I had long discussion with finance officer . I did not gully undeesyand all the figures tbh. He was very surprised that a loss was perceived. He said you had to look at certain figures together. I may not be of much help here. But even BD was surprised when I mentioned a loss was perceived. This may not be of much help though as I have mot undrrstood the figures myself. Just saying my experience yesterday. Meeting was recorded I believe. | nocents
25/9/2018 09:05 | Doh! Seller is active again. I’ll get me blindfold. | nocents
25/9/2018 09:01 | Share price looking good this morning. I'll get me coat lol. | dunderheed
25/9/2018 08:38 | Am I the only one here questioning why they made a loss at the true operational level. What is going to chance to make a difference other than SPT reform? | marvelman
25/9/2018 08:27 | Luckily oil is surging , otherwise I’d leave along with others probably | diseasex |
