25/9/2018 15:18 | Deeppockets, interesting what he said about the TGAL development cost's coming down from 15 million to about 2-3 using thermoplastic pipelines, next 2 years will be very interesting, | archie61

25/9/2018 15:04 | I spoke to BD about the low placing price and he was good enough to explain: As a Board they looked at what amount they would need to pay off Govt debt, CLNs and give a warchest for their forward plans. He said he didn't want to keep going back for £2-3 every year because that's poor management. Having decided they wanted $20m the brokers then go to investors and see what they would be prepared to have and at what price. He said the CLN number was a factor as investors didn't want to pay more than CLN holders. For example one company may say we'll take $5m at 15p or $1m at 20p. After all those conversations they add up what they have and eventually decide on the final amount. Allowing private investors to invest added time and quite a lot of money to the process but he said he had mentioned to private investors that he would let them apply and felt he had to honour that promise. He reiterated he was diluted like everyone else. I felt he handled it honestly. He also said that the investors didn't look at the previous run up in thew share price so discounted that in their valuation etc. I am very happy to hold. Galeota could be huge in the next year or 2. | deeppockets
25/9/2018 14:53 | marvelman your probably best to do some more research like you said if your not sure. sunday you was convinced a placing was coming! Monday morning you said the results were the best in the sector, then you wanted the price to drop so you could buy back in cheaper? now it's happened you wanna research more lol. | archie61
25/9/2018 14:32 | No Rossannan...your reply was indeed valid and I should have thanked you for it. I do understand the principles of depreciation and amortisation. Whether full year 2018 shows significant profit is another wait and see which is not fully definable. I am on the sidelines until I have done more research and projections. | marvelman
25/9/2018 14:21 | Point them out please archie..I am not too proud to admit when I am wrong. | marvelman
25/9/2018 14:19 | results look fantastic from what i can see? some people want blood! maybe some getting there figures mixed up? | archie61
25/9/2018 14:11 | Well I sold yesterday when I read that P & L. As always I look at the balance sheet first which, after plundering much of my money towards making it happen, looked solid. However, I cannot see beyond those skimpy profits once the government have sliced half of the revenue and I don't see enough remaining to make a case for a progressively profitable company especially considering they have no interest to pay on debts as many other companies have. I believe I am not the only one with that view and may help explain the nosedive in the share price I am on the sidelines watching where this goes and I will be very interested to see the next TXP results as a comparison. | marvelman
25/9/2018 14:09 | On Twitter..... For clarification Trinity Exploration #TRIN reiterates 194% increase in 18H1 operating cash flow (post SPT of $3.6m) to $5.0m (17H1: $1.7m). Noting comprehensive income on income statement includes non-recurring accounting exceptionals, down from $25.1m in 17H1 to $11.6m in 18H1 | mark10101
25/9/2018 12:42 | Actually this is exactly what I was thinking? Do they have any "caps or collars" with regard to sales revenues does anyone know? | dunderheed
25/9/2018 11:30 | I agree, my only concern is what impact the east coast well outage in June is going to have on H2 production numbers as it seems to take a while to fully recover (based on a graph in the pack). It is a blip and we are back on trend now but the communication around this must be clear | otemple3
25/9/2018 11:09 | A bit of both for sure. Disappointing as they really should have been generating significant amount of free cash in H1. The difficulty is to try and work out what will recur in H2. | the big fella |
