24/9/2018 09:42 | Yes but as you can see from these results they had to be paid at some point and it isn't obvious they would have had the cash to do so - imho! | dunderheed
24/9/2018 09:09 | Trinity E&P @Trinity_PLC 9m9 minutes ago More Trinity Exploration #TRIN - Whitman Howard impressed with interims reiterating its BUY recommendation given Trinity is funded, profitable, cheap and has a clear path to production growth and value creation; 34p price target | spellbrook

24/9/2018 08:49 | That SPT has reversed a profit to a loss. One positive about the SPT is that it encourages capex as capex can be used to reduce the SPT. No wonder TRIN would like to drill 10 wells per year. | sleveen
24/9/2018 08:46 | Yes absolutely. I have a mkt cap of 100MM as fair value at this stage and think it will reach this quite quickly over the weeks ahead. | dunderheed
24/9/2018 08:29 | DH, a consolidation at 20p is fine by me and those results confirm we are not a sub 20p company. Excellent base and I prefer this mornings action to the 10% rise then sell off. | mark10101
24/9/2018 08:22 | Blimey lots of buying interest in trin today lol. A bit surprised actually. This has to have a place in a well balanced portfolio. | dunderheed
24/9/2018 07:36 | Ha lol I personally think this share should pick up from here. 47mm 2p and 2c reserves plus increasing production profiles all sounds pretty good to me. | dunderheed
24/9/2018 07:30 | Well I am hoping (paradoxically) for the sell on the news brigade to help me add again. This share is now ridiculously under priced with a concrete base to support it. | marvelman
24/9/2018 07:27 | Yes a lot to read but I think a (very) good base to build upon. Hopefully we will hear more about this tonight. | dunderheed
24/9/2018 07:23 | And oil price going up too! | deeppockets
24/9/2018 07:21 | Could not have asked for a better interim report. No shocks and confirmation of the strong balance sheet...possibly the strongest balance sheet in the sector relative to its capitalisation. | marvelman
24/9/2018 07:17 | Outstanding, what a base to build from. Bring on the next few months "the Board would additionally like to take this opportunity to thank existing shareholders and other stakeholders for their support and welcome new shareholders as we move forward debt free and strongly positioned to take advantage of future opportunities in the changing environment in Trinidad & Tobago" | mark10101
23/9/2018 12:23 | he he yes buddy - interesting times ahead and will be waiting rns excitedly tomorrow. | dunderheed
23/9/2018 12:22 | DH. Honestly, I don't want to make a big thing of it. Just my gut feeling which is no logical basis for making any more of it than just that. I suppose that in my experience of these AIM companies cash calls, when they start, just keep coming...WRES is a very good example which is why I won't go near that share any more. Also, the last RNS made me think that the next stage of development would require a lot more cash in order to leave a suitable amount in the bank in order that they don't feel exposed to a sudden downturn in oil. Anyway, we will know tomorrow. Regards. | marvelman
23/9/2018 11:47 | No cash call. Cash call done. Yes it did dent faith. But it was done in the main to rid of CLN dilution early and release extra funds( yes at our expense). Opportunities such as cheap Petrotrin sssets/ new 5 boreholes being drilled/ etc. Trin surprised with Placing. Not a popular move . But it is now in the govt. good books ( their words) and funded for opportunities. More funding is a bit of a worry if they rush into TGAL but IMO they would need farm-in. Oil look steady and/pr rising.iran /Us ain’t patching up !!! Another Placing? Nah . That’d be really be taking TP. Find out tomorrow.IMO budget will be the real teller on 1st Oct. What are they gonna do re. tax? | nocents
23/9/2018 10:11 | marvel - I really don't get why you think there is a cash-call pending - what is your basis for this - except a hunch because of the 'surprising' recent one? | dunderheed
23/9/2018 09:10 | Agree with that Melody BUT at what price would be the cost of purchasing more capital...that's my concern. If it were to be on the scale of the last placing it would be another hit for current shareholders and another golden day for those that get the chance to buy into the company at another discount. If tomorrow we do not have another cash call then it will be (at least for me) someway to repairing the damage that resulted in lack of trust in the BOD...I wait my fate along with all other current shareholders. Regards. | marvelman
23/9/2018 08:45 | The company is funded and debt free so IMV any placing would only be to finance an acquisition which presumably would be earnings enhancing and likely impact positively on share price GLAH | melody9999
23/9/2018 07:58 | "Former UNC energy minister Kevin Ramnarine expected the budget debate will be anchored in the energy sector and specifically Petrotrin." | mark10101
22/9/2018 14:06 | Interesting pre-announcement comments. I’m with you Dunder. There will be no new Placing now.I was disappointed by the previous one and did find it a little stealthy but that’s it. They may have plans for the cash re. the Galeota field though and may have farm-in connections. The Placing secured freedom from CLN dilution and released cash ( at our expense). I don’t expect anything on Monday that’ll ignite the share price but at leaat we will know the true situation. This share was the same price a year ago though . About time we got some reality in the house. | nocents |
