Really surprised to see this down to 46p. I suspect we’ll see a few insider buys today and Monday.

Simon Thompson is a very dangerous pundit to rely on as he specialises in providing partial information.

Liberum, the other broker that covers TRR, have 8p of their 72p target price assigned to Sonora, so todays decline makes some sense in that context.

Q1 results should be next week. I'm very surprised the company hasn't announced an acquisition so far this year

If I were the directors I would be looking around for another project. There must be considerable doubt over Sonora but if it does come to fruition then the company can always raise funds to cover it. They've probably got to 25 January 2025 anyway before they have to raise the money.

Yes, the option value - which is next to nothing. Today's reaction is well overdone.

According to Simon Thompson:

"Tamesis currently values the Sonora royalty at $2.5m (0.7p a share), being the value of the deposit paid and fully recoverable in most circumstances under the loan structure".....

and ... "Option over 1.5% royalty at Mexico's Sonora Lithium will cost $23.5mn, and will add 22.6p to NAV."

Can anyone work out the financial impact of losing the Sonora royalty appeal in today's RNS?

AD appeared to me to subtly change his positioning on divs timescale, looking to try and bring the debut date forward if at all possible based on the deals currently getting looked at (assume a small but growing starter div)

I agree with pogue.

In the Renmark presentation they were implying the next deal is likely to be copper related and the overall market for them has improved in recent months.

The thing I have noticed talking with the CEO earlier this year and listening to his presentations is he is very conservative. I don't think he rushes into anything so could be a slow burner on deals. That is not a bad attribute for a royalties CEO I hasten to add. He clearly can sniff a deal and does look forward rather than follow the royalties herd into the traditional royalties staple of gold but outside of gold I guess it takes time to break new ground.

Must have had a very good quarter with the gold offtakes. Surprised they've not sealed any more deals tbh, they've got ample firepower

Following the ability to trade on the OTCQX Market as TDTRF, Trident Royalties seem to be doing an online Roadshow on 11 April.

Worth highlighting that the gold off take projects that are currently driving revenues (producing around 65% of last quarter's receipts) generate better returns when gold is strong and volatile. If any of the off takes have fallen due over the last few weeks, they will have done very well (the agreements give a right to acquire the gold at the lowest price in a 6-8 day period).

Wasn't necessarily a comment on the underlying assets more that there are opportunities around. I agree that management have done a great job so far

I certainly hope not. Neither of those assets are likely to see any meaningful production. TUN:s assets have been a serial cash drain for investors, and there's no reason to think a royalty holder is likely to see much of a return (if any). Let's be honest, there's a lot better assets around than those above, with credible management teams. Adam and team have demonstrated an ability to separate the wheat from the chaff. Hopefully that'll continue

Couple of royalty opportunities flagged up today. Znwd new royalty over Zinc asset in Ireland and Tungsten West looking at royalties as part of their project financing. Either could be of interest to TRR
