19/10/2015 06:11 | That's a stinker of a trading update, looks like it will be heading below a quid, best hope now is a takeover, other than that the story looks beached for now. | simon gordon

12/8/2015 08:59 | Dow Jones Newswire: 0820 GMT N+1 Singer cuts its estimates for educational software provider Tribal Group PLC after the company reported a 60% fall in first-half adjusted pretax profit due to lower sales and impairment costs. The brokerage says Tribal's investment case remains intact, but believes that some positive contract sales momentum is needed for shares to re-rate from current levels. N+1 Singer has reduced its 2015 adjusted pretax profit estimate to GBP13.3M, from GBP15.2M and EPS forecast to 10.8P, from 12.4P. Tribal shares traded 6.0% lower at 152P. | simon gordon
23/5/2015 08:22 | IMHO there are a few factors that might be having an effect at the moment, including the uncertainty about the future of the school inspection contracts in England, difficulties in breaking into the US market, saturation point being approached with SITS Vision in easily accessible markets. The dearth of announcements from the Bod - they are usually uncommunicative anyway - might not be helping. A bit of positive news would help | daijavu
19/5/2015 15:59 | Wonder if the CFO will leave next, he did sell shares recently and both he and the departing CEO exercised options. | simon gordon
15/5/2015 07:05 | Update sounds like a profit warning. Next results may not make good reading. | its the oxman
13/5/2015 18:59 | You might be right. TTIP might help but that might not happen because there seems to be a lot of cross party opposition to TTIP in Congress. If Tribal can't grow in the USA or Asia they might have to broaden their offering outside education. | daijavu
13/5/2015 11:01 | daijavu, Based upon my recent research the US will be a very hard nut to crack, that is why they are more focused on Asia Pacific for growth. The CEO departing is not a great sign, maybe he thinks they are at a dead end, the company has stabilised but that dynamic growth is beyond them and it will be a slog, that's just an uninformed guess from me. | simon gordon
12/5/2015 21:32 | The company posted this today: 'Keith Evans will step down from his role as chief executive officer of Tribal Group at the end of next month, the provider of software and services for education management confirmed on Tuesday. In a short statement, Evans said he had decided to step down from the role he has occupied for the last five years as he sought a "a change in lifestyle".' | daijavu
12/5/2015 20:44 | I think the key to success here is the US market | daijavu
21/4/2015 19:45 | Hard to tell - O/S as hell so deserves a technical bounce - even a gap fill upto 180 - but FD ditching a shed load doesn't help fill with confidence - counter view is dip to 120ish - kind of depends what happens at 154... | luckymouse

07/4/2015 08:13 | Not very inspiring that the CFO has sold two lots of shares in his ISA: 31/3/15 - 36,881 1/4/15 - 81,286 SCWS reporting that TRB are aiming to do EPS of 17p in 2017. Personally think TRB will get taken out, no idea when. Monthly support at 142p then 125p: | simon gordon
27/3/2015 21:18 | I'm confident that this will come good eventually but we'll have to be patient. There may be some movement after the August statement. There seems to have been some share swapping between IIs yesterday | illtud
24/3/2015 16:31 | Any views on how the share price is going to pan out for the remainder of 2015? Been pretty range bound for the past two years, 150p to 200p. | simon gordon
16/3/2015 09:04 | great intra day reversal l2 pretty strong | gucci
03/3/2015 10:01 | nice move up today | gucci
25/2/2015 16:13 | It certainly surprised me. Perhaps we'll see some more movement when the 2014 results are out. | illtud
25/2/2015 07:21 | Looks like some in the market knew of the OFSTED extension: 25/2/15 Extension to Ofsted Early Years Quality Assurance contract Tribal undertakes a range of quality assurance inspections on behalf of Ofsted, the UK's Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services and Skills, under a contract which commenced in August 2010 and was due to expire in August 2015. We are pleased to announce that, as anticipated, this contract has now been extended for up to 19 months until March 2017, with a likely value of over GBP18m. | simon gordon
23/2/2015 11:13 | I think that we may have to wait until Tribal gets past the income loss from losing school inspections. | illtud
23/2/2015 11:11 | 2014 results due 16th March | illtud
15/2/2015 17:27 | TRB broke the downtrend in Jan, & the consolidation phase this month. Hope they can keep it up. | napoleon 14th
14/1/2015 23:47 | The problems are Tribal's history, the loss of a large source of income from school inspections and a dropping share market. The positives include the fact that Tribal's core business based on SITS Vision is still expanding. The University of Alberta is a recent acquisition in Canada joining The University Of British Columbia. The potential market for SITS Vision in Canada is around 50% larger than Australia. | illtud
02/1/2015 11:05 | Seems happy enough with support at 160p. RNS 181214 - Chaiman putting his money where his mouth is; Not megabucks but a good sign. | napoleon 14th
17/12/2014 07:56 | Chart wise on the monthly, support is at 143p then 116p. | simon gordon |
