10/12/2004 13:04 | clearly someone selling into strenght. too be expected I suspose. Have been watching trb for some time and think that bottom my be in so jumped on board. | ards
10/12/2004 12:56 | Wonder why the early gains have all but gone? Surely the MMs couldn't have factored in this news completely (esp the previously unknown(?) £24m uplift of guaranteed work)? From Yahoo: Broker Recommendations - Friday 10th December 2004, 10:06 am Bridgewell Securities reiterates overweight on Tribal Group (LSE: TRB.L - news) , believing the shares to be worth at least 200p. | chap1889
10/12/2004 08:03 | Yep.. should be good news...interesting situation today imho... Interims suggested £190m over a 5 year period...outcome is £214m...some will have thought it would be less than the £190m....so good again! | scotswhaehae
03/12/2004 13:18 | Institutions buying in as well, perhaps you've picked a good entry point. | ashmok
02/12/2004 16:41 | I have to admit to trading this one - hoping for announcement of DTC contract not too distant future then out for 10-15% gain. | wormcatcher
02/12/2004 12:29 | Sound , if modest , gains! U may like to check out AUTONOMY (AU.) which is starting to motor off a very interesting base! | scotswhaehae
01/12/2004 14:22 | Interesting net volume buys...contract completion announcement imminent (?) | scotswhaehae
30/11/2004 17:26 | wormcatcher -- I think the current price assumes that Mercury aren't going to get the contract, therefore announcing success should boost the price. The interims being below expectations will hold us back, though, so I wouldn't expect major gains. My guess is we're not going to see any significant movement until the next results. | ashmok
29/11/2004 13:50 | Did you read Edmond Jackson article in Sunday telegraph 28 November ? - Money section page 2 He does not dismiss Tribal as an investment although he has his reservations He reckons it is trying to do too much. | 9degrees
29/11/2004 12:54 | Assuming that Mercury do close the deal on the NHS DTC contract in the near future, do people think that this is already in the price or do people think that the uncertainty in this contract is reflected in the shareprice - if the later, what do people think might be the effect of closing the deal? | wormcatcher
24/11/2004 08:37 | This one has all the classic warning signs: 1. Balance sheet built on fresh air with nothing but goodwill on the assets side and share premium account on the other (P&L reserves of less than £3m after 5 years!) 2. Capitalisation of development expenditure - and in areas where the group is not established! 3. Treatment of employee share benefit costs as exceptional items - they're a proxy for remuneration and should be taken off profits in the normal way. 4. Massive acquisition risk. This company looks like a lash up and it reminds me hugely of Finelist whose demise was also predictable on much the same grounds. DYOR but be very very careful. | profplum
23/11/2004 22:43 | Market cap now about half sales? I know the management may have been a little acquisition happy but surely the next 12 months can only be up from here (or have I over-estimated this stock??) | roguie
23/11/2004 08:45 | Rhomba u Back in today - results not too bad considring the fall recently could see 1.60+?? | jagxxx
23/11/2004 08:18 | I reckon these have further to go. I will keep an eye on them though. | stokepa
22/11/2004 15:55 | Not the most encouraging trading I've ever seen for the day before results. Perhaps expectations aren't quite low enough? | ashmok
15/11/2004 13:30 | They've already effectively warned us that this half of the year isn't going to be great (or at least, not as good as the second half), so expectations should be low. I doubt there will be a significant, sustained movement either way, unless they've saved up some extra news on something like the Mercury contract. | ashmok
15/11/2004 07:58 | Results out on Tues 23rd. Are we going up or down? Any ideas? | gran
04/10/2004 07:59 | Nice rise there. I'm still sceptical that it can be sustained for the next six months, but will be very happy to be proved wrong. | ashmok
04/10/2004 07:34 | Hello, this is better? All bad news behind us? | gran
04/10/2004 07:33 | Sunday Telegraph comment in line with my earlier posts...all set fair...should hurt shorters! | scotswhaehae
24/9/2004 16:09 | thar she goes....whaehae..... | bedlamsbottom
24/9/2004 10:13 | and again today...! | scotswhaehae
23/9/2004 14:00 | and a nice tick up again...this is looking promising, especially bearing in mind quite tough stockmarket at the moment... | scotswhaehae
22/9/2004 06:37 | Ex dividend today, 2p per share. Continued encouraging progress... | scotswhaehae |
