24/1/2005 15:02 | 92m market cap with the share price at virtually an all time low and a very quiet thread. I have bought a few more and feel quietly(pun intended) confident. | hybrasil
21/1/2005 11:45 | Much appreciated. Will have a look over the weekend at the website and weigh up my position - by the looks of things, I may have missed the absolute bottom. Interesting to note that Tribal operates a 'Sharesave scheme' each January. Employees are being offered the option to purchase shares at £1.44 in 3 years time. As this type of scheme is nomrally meant to represent a significant discount on the current price (last year it was around 20%) it might reflect a level of optimism by the Board that the current price is too cheap. | fncb001
20/1/2005 22:24 | fncb001 I use a smaller company by the name of SPREADEX , have done for 3 years and never been refused one trade on a stock with a mkt cap over 50mln , they will ring me about upcoming news on the stock i have a position i-e dividends due , even 2 days before results are due i will get a call from them. www.spreadex.com | blackbear
20/1/2005 22:17 | Sorry my last post was a bit irresponsible on its own , but it is true Most spreadbetting firms offer #2,ooo credit minimum to get you trading , you can use it to place a 100 pound per point bet on TRB if you so wish , this is equivalent to buying #12,ooo pounds worth of shares i might add. Yes without laying out any money you can get 12k worth of exposure of your favourite share. I am asuming one would have assets elsewhere to cover things say the trade goes against you , but this is one hell of a way to leverage some money when a position becomes attractive but dont want to miss out by selling other good shares. regards bb. | blackbear
20/1/2005 22:11 | black bear, can you recommend any reputable spreadbetting firms to use? I have hear enough positive news to maybe have a small wager. | fncb001
20/1/2005 22:06 | fncb001 , try using spreadbetting , u dont need money. | blackbear
20/1/2005 21:32 | We'll soon find out. I am going back into the market in the morning. | hybrasil
20/1/2005 21:11 | Nice to see some positive discussion. Very large volumes today, encouraging that someone else out there sees value. Not so worried about longer sufferers, more about employees who rely on cashing these in each year to top up income. Difficult to know how many of these there are out there but once they've cleared off I expect this to start rising solidly on the back of hitting revised y/e targets and showing signs of restructuring having the desired effects. Just a damn shame I have no cash left after spend my last few quid at £1.25! | fncb001
20/1/2005 18:32 | hybrasil good buys, that shows this share has been on someones watch list. I have been finding it difficult to explain why the drift given profitable, good free cash flow and in growth market. Think this is bottom and good time to top up imho. will be a bit jittery on way up as long suffering holders sell but should head north. next resistance 140-50 area. | ards
20/1/2005 16:29 | hybrasil , a bit early to say its turned but i wouldnt be supprised if it does. dont worry , i was on the HOR thread on my own for 6 months , made 400%. | blackbear
20/1/2005 15:48 | I was puzzled by the 250k protected @ 120p, that was the full offer price at the time it printed and nothing on the other side. Presumably stale book stock (no surprise in view of recent price action) but seems strange that someone helping the market maker out like this has to pay the full offer? | charlie
20/1/2005 15:33 | does no one read this board | hybrasil
20/1/2005 15:10 | I think theyt have turned. I bought a load more at 120p and remain a buyer but they are difficult enough to get. This turn is well overdue. On a chart basis would anyone agree that if it breaks through 1.30p which I believe it will next week that at least 1.70 is on the cards | hybrasil
20/1/2005 08:09 | Yes BB But how low is this thing going to go. | hybrasil
20/1/2005 08:06 | Your going to find out today why u got them for 115 i guess, expect offer to hit that today. still looking with interest. bb. | blackbear
20/1/2005 07:56 | Looks like I called it a little wrong. I think its going to open up down again this am. What is even more worrying is that KLWT who were holding up the price virtually on their own have now come off the bid | hybrasil
19/1/2005 16:31 | This is the first time I have ever seen the market to lie comprehensively. This morning I have twice been offered shares again at 115. I bought as I told you yesterday. The bid price is 115 and yet you can buy shares for that. What is up? | hybrasil
18/1/2005 15:13 | It hasnt marked but I managed to buy some shares at 115p. Edit it has now marked. I took the view that I dont often get the bottom right and even if it falls a bit I am here for the long haul | hybrasil
18/1/2005 14:23 | ah, the 108p is an error on 3i. no change - 118p holding firm (for the time being). | chap1889
18/1/2005 14:16 | Yes Chap I saw that only one on the bid at 118 and I had a look at the sell side . You can only sell 500 shares electronically! My buy in price looks at if it is getting closer | hybrasil
18/1/2005 12:05 | 125k through at 108p. ouch! | chap1889 |
