19/4/2005 08:24 | Long a few again @~162p. The deals yesterday and tr.stmt today give reasonable hope that turnaround succeeding on fundamentals, with plenty of upside for that to be reflected on the chart; finals 21jun05. It seems the NHS deal is being handled OK (there was a long period of waiting for it, leading to a further slide when it was finally won! - the slide being due to worries TRB would not be able to handle it and/or extract cash from it). The decline in TRB's chart was partly due to loss of confidence when they lost a big contract or two; like I say, they may be getting past that now. If any of that view is erroneous, please speak up! (I confess not to have been following it closely the last few months) | mikehardman
19/4/2005 07:44 | pity it is such a weak market at minute. with new contract and increase in earnings, cash generative, cash in bank and p/e 7 looks very mean. I think the problem is fear over wider market. always good opportunity to top up in these circumstances. | ards
19/4/2005 07:16 | Institutional meeting to last 1.5 hours, will be copy of presentaion will be on the company website. Statement reads well, this is only preclose trading statement, so more good news can be expected in full year end results. www.tribalgroup.co.u | charlie100
19/4/2005 06:22 | trading statement will put a rocket under these. shorters will get burnt. | ards
15/4/2005 09:34 | EVOLUTION MOVED FROM REDUCE TO ADD TODAY. | charlie100
12/4/2005 10:16 | looks like finding some support. update due ?19 april | ards
23/3/2005 18:27 | The recent price rise may be connected with the recent decsion by the DoH to lift the 15% cap on the use of ISTCs through the Patient Choice initiative. This could enable Mercury to extend their market share over and above the guaranteed activity they have already been awarded. | desert_fox
22/3/2005 00:36 | Well im back already after my DOW short come up trumps , loaded up on TRB hopefully for six months. | blackbear
21/3/2005 15:35 | On what looks like 38k net buys today to 14:26, the mms jack the Ask up 10p Makes me wonder if they are pulling people's chains or there is a delayed trade. | bigt20
21/3/2005 15:20 | Now seems like a great time to get in. IMHO. DL | davidlloyd
21/3/2005 08:22 | looks like some buys coming through today preceded by mm trades. looks good. | ards
18/3/2005 14:18 | I think you have a point, the sharp bounce back makes this look like the bottom. Of course that's only for now & a disappointing trading update might change things, but it's a good start. | ashmok
18/3/2005 13:37 | nice 200k buy. like I said. mms drop price to flush out weak hands to try and fill large orders. the more times it test support the stronger the bullish case. | ards
18/3/2005 12:04 | Agreed. Been following these for 3 years. Little downside now, much upside. Definately worth a punt at this level IMO. | davidlloyd
17/3/2005 13:50 | If I am not mistaken bullish divergence on the RSI chart, think this fall may be over done. | charlie100
17/3/2005 12:08 | looks like a retest of support. if holds this is good sign bottom in. | ards
17/3/2005 10:36 | The MMs appear to be trying to rally the price....but you can still sell very little on line and buy a load...all I can see at the moment are sells!...one item from the budget that does concern me is that they have stated that the number of school inspections is going to be reduced....I'm sure that Tribal have a slice of that business as school inspectors....I am growing more wary of this share and will not be adding to my position at the moment until we get a clearer picture at the update...if it's positive then we should see a firming in the price and if there is any sign of deteriating profits/weaker outlook then I think under current circumstances we will see a sharp move south....whilst I still think that there has to be some sort of long term value here it is a sector of the market which is blatantly out of favour.....I'm going to let the MMs walk the price up in the mean time and wait for the update....here's hoping! | alexacj
16/3/2005 13:29 | I have noticed that this share drops on very little vol. 70k traded today and company value drops 5m. pretty bizarre. I think that a buy on dips strategy a good one. The company guaranteed at least 17m pretax profit if I remember correctly and revenue strong. It has 25m in bank. Looks like buy as share really out of favour. I will average down. My average at present is 130. | ards
16/3/2005 12:32 | do you expect right issue? | wham2003
16/3/2005 10:30 | You can buy what you want on line and sell nothing....so I have to agree with you.It looks very much like it is heading towards a pound a share.....unless something catastrophic has ocurred then this share certainly appears to be VERY cheap. There is clearly an overhang on this stock either an institution selling down or shorting prior to the trading update....either way if there continues to be sells in the market the share price will only go one way......if anyone manages to catch this one at the bottom I think they could do very well...but where is the bottom? | alexacj
16/3/2005 09:33 | well its falling again and sounds like it has further to fall. | hybrasil
10/3/2005 15:50 | This should be interesting.. RNS Number:5967J Tribal Group PLC 10 March 2005 TRIBAL GROUP PLC NOTIFICATION OF TRADING UPDATE As announced on Tuesday 8th March, Tribal Group plc will announce its pre-close trading update on Tuesday 19th April 2005. The institutional presentation will now be at 10:00am and not as previously stated, 9:00am.\] I sold out last week due to lack of funds , be back soon. | blackbear
02/3/2005 10:27 | I think that the sluggish performance is due more to (a) the "aquisitor" sector being "out of favour" at the moment and (b)the profit warnings.Non the less this group has established itself within the government sector which should prove to be a growth area that will weather the current uncertain economical environment.Even on the revised figures this co. will have a p/e in single digits....it's peers trade in the teens.Any group that grows at the pace Tribal has will undoubtably have issues that arise in terms of structure and management reach...it will take time to integrate and streamline the various business's.However the gamble as I see it is whether the management have the ability to do this or not, with a fairly hefty personal stake in the business Henry should be working night and day to ensure that these issues are resolved and organic growth continues. Now that they have stated that aquistions will be effectively halted and the focus will be on "getting right what they already have" then the proof of this should be evident at the next set of results. If they show organic growth and have a positive forward looking statement then this undervalued share will re-rate...if not??????........... | alexacj
01/3/2005 13:17 | What do you make of the sluggish performance Is it time to cash in now? | craddo
18/2/2005 09:31 | blackbear, Wouldn't dare! I missed the bottom by a fraction but managed to help out my overall position. Will look to hold as many as I can for as long as I can. If we hit £2 before June i'll take you for a pint. | fncb001 |
