16/1/2019 12:16 | Centi's "Ultimately, this decision will be down to the likes of Lobbenberg and Criseren. Maybe they will take some hard headed decisions about where things are going?" is, methinks, true. Winding-up as we enter a global downturn? Good luck if you think shareholders will get anything. Would be better to put it to bed for a while if income fails. All the significant development work is out of house. | sojourno
15/1/2019 21:55 | I'm hanging in there for the time being because my investment was always small and speculative and at around 67p in new money so my losses are not going to break me either way and i'd like to see what Criseren and Chris Mills have planned. At the first whiff of another discounted placing to maintain the status quo i'm selling. | arthur_lame_stocks
15/1/2019 21:44 | Can`t see a breakup of the company getting anything like the near 50p a share you could get now so either we all sit it out or sell up and put it down to experience(plus losses to ofset). Personally,I`m hanging in there! | piggyinthemiddle
15/1/2019 20:39 | The company currently has a cap of 5.72 million. Winding up the company would involve some significant costs, and you’d want at least the current share price back, I suppose. What do people think the value of the company would be on breakup? Intellisaw was sold for £2.9 million, but this was a solution to a real-life need (temperature of switchgear). There have been many, many false dawns for SAW products, so I don’t really have much faith in GE (remember Honeywell?), GM (how long has flexiplate been going on for now?), Intelliwind, McLaren, or various projects such as steering sensors. Even with GE, the last results said that in respect of royalties, ‘this is not likely to arise for several years.’ We may have a better mousetrap, but the current ones seem to be ‘good enough’. Things are also changing with the use of electric cars, and their transmissions are very different beasts indeed. I therefore can’t see much value in the IP. If it was really valuable, then surely the company would be having to fight off people wanting the product after all these years. Translogik (tyre probes and mining truck tyre pressures) doesn’t actually use any SAW sensors. They have clever, well integrated products, which are addressed to market needs. However, they could be replicated. Translogik is providing almost all of the income at the moment. My feeling is that the company is fairly accurately valued at the moment. It may be that Translogik is worth more than the overall market cap (anyone make a guess ? - roughly 2 million turnover, dunno about costs) , but its earnings are being used to keep the dream/fantasy going. I would therefore also say – is enough enough? Ultimately, this decision will be down to the likes of Lobbenberg and Criseren. Maybe they will take some hard headed decisions about where things are going? BTW, I continue to hold all of my shares, with a 95% loss. | centipede
15/1/2019 14:49 | Mattjos, why do you think prospescts are improving? According to the AGM statement revenues are falling from an already low base. In my opinion it's time to throw in the towel and raise as much cash as possible from the IP and move on. I reckon some of you that have been here years are letting hope triumph over judgement. I would have liked to see this company succeed because i'm a shareholder too, I just don't think it's going to. | arthur_lame_stocks
10/1/2019 13:58 | have been adding over last couple of days. Cannot ignore the improving prospects for the company, the chart & that near £2/share carry forward tax losses asset on the balance sheet. Given that, the IP & the registration under UK govt. Patent Box scheme, the underlying businesses are being valued at less than zero & that is simply not rational. This should be valued at absolute minimum £1 / share … 50p's for £1 coins as far as I am concerned so I will continue to buy | mattjos
10/1/2019 09:45 | If anyone wants to buy,get a move on-not taking much to move the price up this morning! | piggyinthemiddle
07/1/2019 10:21 | buyer(s) seem quite keen to pick up any loose stock about today | mattjos
04/1/2019 11:06 | TBH... ...they're not replicating our services, we're the best in our field. ...even we're not using our tech much, it's better suited to others. I'm unsure when certain aspects of our IP expire and facilitate duplication, or even if the Chinese care, but I understand cover is pretty tight. | sojourno
31/12/2018 10:45 | Competitors are replicating our services not our tech. There was a conversation about our IP with the bod, the security of which they certainly seem to prioritise. | major courtenay
31/12/2018 09:32 | Time will tell. Going with the boards 'optomistic view'. Something tells me news flow will pick up in the New Year. | drw1
31/12/2018 07:41 | If Michelin and Bridgestone are replicating mining tech then it shows lack of IP protection. So that's very bad news if that's the case. Thanks for reports back from AGM. Doesn't give me any optimism for the future. | amt
26/12/2018 18:35 | I would guess about £1 a share if the last disposal is anything to go by. | arthur_lame_stocks

26/12/2018 15:59 | lfc4ever-maybe,just maybe ,like Liverpool 2019 could be the year for TRT? | piggyinthemiddle
26/12/2018 12:39 | I'm still hoping that they're in the last chance saloon and if the business doesn't achieve breakeven before the cash runs out that there will be no more dilutive fundraisings and the IP will be sold. On this basis I expect to make a profit but if people want to keep chucking cash at something that still has negligible turnover after 20 years of trying to make a viable business then I reckon they want their heads tested. | arthur_lame_stocks
26/12/2018 12:28 | maybe we all just failed, back in the day, to understand the nuance of "near future". | lfc4ever
24/12/2018 14:03 | Hmm,maybe I`ll shift my position to optimistic after all :) | piggyinthemiddle
24/12/2018 11:34 | Snippet from the road show presentation:- • GE relationship strengthens - initial project maturing - 3 new projects are under discussion • We have 2 OE level automotive projects underway • Our JV with McLaren is ongoing and the addition of our torque sensor into further multiple race series is under discussion • We have 2 Marine applications, one under trial and one at development stage • iTrack adoption rates accelerating • New contracts announced in Chile, Australia and West Africa • Trials in Peru and South Africa at an advanced stage • 24/7 Data Analytics centre receives first clients • First trial in USA agreed | drw1
23/12/2018 00:20 | Goodyear launched Tire Optix in March 2018 In the Interims presentation, slide 7: "One OEM that has adopted the probe has 2,300 distributors in the US alone and one client has a potential requirement for 400 probes" The Full year presentation, slide 6: "Probe sales increased to £839k (2017 £464k) Goodyear, which has 2,300 distributors in the US alone, launched Tire Optix Fleet Inspection Software, incorporating the Translogik probe, and sales are now expanding both within and beyond the USA Further market adoption by Bridgestone, Continental and numerous system integrators and value added resellers" The final results are to 30th June 2018 …… seems most unlikely to me that Goodyear has primed all of its 2,300 Distributors with Probes between March & end June so assume the Probe sales rate likely to keep growing as product adoption inevitably grows. iTrack (Sales) Rev. has halved from 2016 to 2018 (£830k --> £440k) whilst; iTrack (Subs) Rev has quadrupled over same timeframe (£150k - £620k) I think management have good reason for optimism going into 2019, particularly if they can upsell more iTrack customers to the 24/7 Data Analytics service & as Probe sales continue to accelerate. | mattjos
22/12/2018 18:54 | Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this. Here is my invite link above : | old fool2
