Why would anyone sell one share? Is it a sign? or someone sold 99 before having owned 100?

And if Image Scan keeps going up I might get back my losses on that as well

I too bought Image Scan several years ago and until July they were languishing at around 2p (sound familiar?). Now hovering between 8 - 9p and on the up. Wouldn't mind the same thing at TRT ;)

I recall many years ago Cantata who used to post mentioned Image Scan. I invested recently and trebled my money and got back my losses on TRT. So something good came out of watching TRT

Glavey... no problem. From last to first:- (All IMHO DYOR &c)

Yes, I know. If it wasn't so tragic it would be funny. Being here hasn't changed the price, even if some of us PIs have institutional sized holdings!

Institutional holders are unlikely to take a position in a volatile growth Co like this then short the price down, particularly if it's announced. I'm not saying none will but it's pretty unlikely and none have yet... not to the BB's knowledge anyway.

I mean "selling shares" as opposed to taking a spread bet: i.e.The Co wants to build a shareholder base and reduce volatility.

"Selling shares" as in building a market, an environment that is less toxic than than the vast issue and tiny price that some view as a detractor.

Apols for my brevity. A tad busy at the moment but I'm always happy to help clarify!

"It's about selling shares..." I'm confused - I didn't think TRT had suggested they wanted to sell any shares. Do you feel otherwise?

"...not facilitating leveraged positions..." Even more confused - I didn't mention it but I don't see that leverage has anything to do with it*. (?) [*relating to the proposed share consolidation] Anyway, plenty of funds run some leverage.

"...institutional investors have to declare Short positions" Sure, but I don't see your point, sorry.

"PIs short term" Well that made me laugh - how long have you been here, how long have others, how long have I? My guess is a longer than the average IIs have hung around.

Sorry if I've misunderstood any of your points.

worth reading in terms of what it does and also right at the bottom the point made regarding different brands of tyre.

Our probe is integrated with their software product now. Always useful.

To paraphrase-there are known knowns which we know but also unknown knowns we don`t know we don`t know and TRT comes into the latter category but what do I know? :)

Thanks, and yes, known. It is only how solid and how near be the prospect that is not known. Given a tweet or other flag, I want to see the signal for myself first hand.

I ought to just get on with something useful. :-O

This is already known from the interim results on 21st Sept I guess:
We have opened a new office in Antofagasta, which is considered the mining capital of Chile, and the same analytics service is also being offered there. Chile is also being used as a base to expand into other Latin American countries namely Brasil and Peru where we expect trials to be underway in the new financial year.

Thanks, but I 'followed' Trans-logic hoping to read the tweet for myself, but could not see it there. When was it tweeted? Is it possible to give a url that will enable me to get it?

I wonder if it is new business. I hope (and on balance expect) so, rather than just upgrading trucks that use iTrack 1.

Glavey... re: Your last paragraph. It's about selling shares not facilitating leveraged positions and institutional investors have to declare Short positions. It's institutions we want as that type of holder move prices in the long term (PIs short term)
Yes, for the less well performing Co's I, at least partly, take the cynical view!

Well, I guess that's the optimistic view of things. People won't be disappointed if you are right! On the other hand, that's likely what the directors of those other firms thought too when they set about it, only to find out things worked out otherwise. (Unless of course one takes the cynical view that it was just a prelude to a fund raise!) ;-)
BTW, I'm not suggesting it is TRTs design to get rid of the smaller shareholders, just that it was one of the effects mentioned the article you linked where there were examples of it being intentional.

In proposing to attract institutional shareholders it's worthwhile remembering that they may take both long and short positions. They aren't known for holding the interests of private investors close to their hearts.

I suspect the rush is on to promote the product whilst Sterling weakens ready for a flurry of orders iro parity with the Euro or maybe even USD.
I've heard that continental "boutique" Bureau de Change are shredding the pound.

So nobody here has L2 then... what a surprise!!
