24/9/2019 09:51 | RNS of 19th Sept states H1 profit up almost 170%... either people don't read the news or are unmoved by this success story. Higher POG for the year should mean another handsome payout too | rhuvaal2
20/9/2019 01:06 | I think, the company is still valued very cheaply - even with the possibility of now lower reserves at Asacha. We have to consider, that the company just recently received a 20 year exploration license for Rodnikova in April. This deposit is estimated to contain 1 Moz of Gold at a grade of 5.3 g/T. 1 Moz high grade gold is worth a lot at current gold prices! It is 50km near the current mine. They have also further exploration at Asacha going on.The market cap is a little bit above 100 mln pounds, not much for such a big amount of gold in a likely bull coming gold bull market. | zockempire
19/9/2019 19:44 | I sold first thing for exactly the same reason as you. just sown a little doubt into my mind. | steve c1
19/9/2019 17:15 | I simply sold first thing because of the statement 'Preliminary internal estimates indicate the published JORC compliant in-situ resource may be overestimated; as a result, the Directors consider that the operational life of the Asacha Gold Mine beyond 2024 will need to be reviewed'. Until this is clarified , for me , i will remain on the sidelines . Yes every mine has a life and yes they are looking at other options but the early morning sell off was justified imo. I agree the results look great and the strength in the pog will mean that H2 should be good . I will watch and wait. I took a nice profit . I wish all current holders all the best and will certainly be keeping an eye on developments here. I was just being honest , that's all ! | jeanesy
19/9/2019 16:33 | Yep Aaz did the very same on good results | saint in exile
19/9/2019 12:57 | I think i might have to revisit my strategy of selling on the eve of results and rebuying on the day of results, its a nice little earner and it worked well for me a few years ago. Looks like the great majority of shares drop on results day no matter the content. | fozzie
19/9/2019 12:53 | Topping up here. Sell-off overdone. | breaktwister
19/9/2019 11:48 | H2 should be stunning with current POG ? Possible special divi again. SP will be back up soon enough | underdog
19/9/2019 11:35 | What a great set of results!Quite why the market sells off results like this is baffling to me.Very happy to keep hold and watch this company grow | mattjos
19/9/2019 10:16 | All mines close eventually. Make the most of it while producing. This is a good mine with a good report. 134 by Brexit o'clock. | johny cash
19/9/2019 09:34 | Probably being naive again jeanesy, sorry, but why would you get out now if it's years before the end of it's life? Up until then, we could be in and out of this stock between support and resistance for years, no? | phillkay
19/9/2019 08:01 | results look great at first glance, but mine life is a big worry for me. Decided to sell out | jeanesy
19/9/2019 07:40 | Also the dates are wrong. It was declared on June 14 and paid on August 9. The AGM was on June 27 and the record date was 12 July. | zangdook
19/9/2019 07:38 | 6. Dividends paid and proposed ... A final dividend of 1.136 US cents per ordinary share for the year ended 31 December 2018 was declared on 27 June 2019 and paid on 12 July 2019. The final dividend amounted to $0.8 million. I understood that because the buyback took place after the cut-off date, the dividend was not increased and was paid at 0.9 cents. Is this an error in today's results? | zangdook
19/9/2019 07:31 | Good results eps calculation wrong! Mine life after 2024 a worry jorc overestimated!? | rolo7
12/9/2019 21:10 | nice recovery today :) | jeanesy
11/9/2019 21:21 | There were some circa 10k sells early doors and up-to mid-day, I wonder if these were badly handled - possibly a PI dumping a modest position in scatter gun fashion - the market makers took evasive action immediately fearing more to come but no. Gold has recovered a little on COMEX so I suspect this will rally tomorrow - this was £1.30p recently, looks oversold. | the_sage1
11/9/2019 20:56 | Guy's It appears to me that somebody, holding a large position, for what ever reason needed funds quick. The severe drop in share price price is not directly been caused by the lower price of gold or the company . | klosters65
11/9/2019 20:32 | More bought than sold and yet we are down 10% - bonkers !! | jeanesy
11/9/2019 13:03 | Gold looks oversold would not be surprised to see a decent bounce when COMEX opens this afternoon. | the_sage1
11/9/2019 11:57 | No reason for the drop, I think this will recover quickly, concur a decent buy in or top up opportunity. | thecoyone
11/9/2019 11:34 | Looks a great entry point | broken_arrow1
11/9/2019 11:32 | This was £1.30p at the start of September - can now be bought at £1.05p - a gift | the_sage1
11/9/2019 11:25 | Looks like a classic fishing expedition by the market makers - trying to acquire cheap stock by hitting stop losses. Have bought in | the_sage1 |
