18/5/2019 14:47 | My largest holding in my portfolio is in AAZ,the same has happened there. People sell and buy for various reasons that is what makes the Market. ATB. | callmebwana
18/5/2019 11:59 | But pog had a brief flip up after China retaliated with sanctions, now back to where it was before... more or less | rhuvaal2
18/5/2019 09:39 | I think the fall is more likely because the POG has fallen. | callmebwana
17/5/2019 14:31 | I'll eat my hat if it gets there. | zangdook
17/5/2019 14:13 | Looks like it's heading towards discounted price 33p | ilostthelot
17/5/2019 10:08 | I would have expected the shareprice to drop further towards the buyback price. | casual47
17/5/2019 10:06 | It would be more reassuring if the buyers were locked in for a period. I agree with rhuvaal - the impression is the company could have taken them all but the directors saw the chance for some gravy. | zangdook
17/5/2019 09:52 | If they were to sell that amount of shares in the open market the shareprice would drop far below the discounted price imo. So the discount doesn't seem to be unreasonable. It's not exactly encouraging that there are no IIs lined up to take over the shares at a better price but that may be because it's a 100% Russian miner and there is limited appetite for that outside of Russia. The price they set for the shares does provide the most up-to-date "real" market valuation of the company so from that perspective it's unfortunate that it was so deeply discounted. | casual47
17/5/2019 09:19 | slight aroma of snouts in the trough here.... per the directors and others, I would like to buy shares at a heavily discounted price, as well | rhuvaal2
16/5/2019 12:00 | one scenario is for the dividend to be reduced to say 4 or 5 pence, so giving the 50p holders a decent return and the 33p buyers a magnum hello. This would save a few $M dollars/roubles for getting to grips with the recently awarded acreage nearby. We shall have to wait and see. | rhuvaal2
03/5/2019 08:39 | The loan is in rubles, and Russian inflation is higher than in the UK, so the interest rate isn't quite as bad as it seems. | zangdook
03/5/2019 08:36 | Proffesional way of doing things. Most companies would have just let them dump open market. | ileeman
03/5/2019 08:33 | Or you could say Someone is happy to sell their shares at 42% discount Bank loan for 4yrs at 10.7%pa means bank will make £3million Directors buying at 42% discount, pi's not allowed to subsribe Bank and directors are winners here | return_of_the_apeman
03/5/2019 08:30 | Seems a clear short-term buying opportunity based on ill-founded misunderstanding | mattjos
03/5/2019 08:29 | Post transaction, going to have good effect on the BS.I do not see how this is bad news. The fun holding the shares is not an open ended fund and needs to realise its investment .. this is much better way of dealing with the situation & amenable to all | mattjos
03/5/2019 08:23 | 11m shares are being sold at 33p to various buyers who don't seem to be locked in, so there could be an overhang if some of them decide to take a bit of profit. That's the only reason I can see for the markdown. | zangdook
03/5/2019 07:41 | Well if it does open at 50p I will have a few more | basem1
03/5/2019 07:35 | And yet the market marks it down. FFS | basem1
03/5/2019 07:29 | Sensible buyback arrangement & looks like a great deal for all concerned parties, inc minority shareholders. | mattjos
03/5/2019 07:27 | Well after getting my head round the buyback numbers. The market values us at £61m minus the £7m cash used for the buyback. There's now 75m shares rather than 108m in issueSo 54m div by 75m shares equals 72p share. Wonder if the market will see it this way ? | basem1

30/4/2019 11:00 | A very muted response to good quarterly results. | ilostthelot
