basem1, so long as you got off with a profit you 100% did the right thing,,,,, & you can always get back on again anytime,,, NIA,,,, you know I am a novice at this, but, with JORC & the heli-survey due soon,,, might it not be wise to buy some now just in case it runs away??

I suppose it depends upon your investment horizon,,,, for me AAZ is long term right now,,,, I hope the new data has a dramatic effect upon the share price ..

I look at it like this, a lot of AIM miners have the stuff in the ground, but can they successfully fund getting it out and turn a profit!?,,,

AAZ has demonstrated it can very successfully do that,,,, so, if their new data is earth shattering, which it may well be,,, they do not need to convince the market they can get it out the ground as they have already proved they know exactly what they are doing!!!

so 50% of the risk proposition at AAZ has been eliminated for me :-)

not sure if that makes sense or not, but it does to me lol :-)

GL
Cheers
Wan

Well done Wan, I'm still waiting to get back on the AAZ train after getting off too early at 77 and 81 after the large fall to the mid 60's there.

Another AAZ share price rise in the making at TSG IMO. Same applies a nice juicy (and safe) dividend. 12% yield !!

I managed to pick up a few this morning - want to get 50k+ but it will be hard.

Will continue to build, happy to pay up-to 60p.

This fellow has a wide understanding of the sector and has reviewed TSG over the weekend - he has a target price of £1

I think the catalyst for a move is that progressive dividend policy that started with the recent 3.9p a share payment.

thecoyone,

I have had a holding in TSG for several years. It is currently 8th (out of 67) in my under-valued PM producers in header table#2.

Based on the last set of financials, the current set of table#2 metrics is as follows with table average values per metric in ():

PER ~ 12.5 (27)
PBV ~ 0.82 (1.8)
PSR ~ 1.16 (2.9)
PCF ~ 2.74 (10)
Ev/EBITDA ~ 4.31 (8.8)

They have manageable debt (USD16.0m) which has been steadily reducing over the last 7 years.

Margins are reasonable: Gross = 27.7%, Operating = 13.6%, Pre-tax = 11.4%, Net Profit = 9.3% and have been pretty consistent over several years - like most of their stats!

Production is steady c. 35koz pa, grades c. 6.2g/t, recovery c. 94.4%, cash costs c. USD644/oz but no AISC reported!

First dividends in 2016 (USD5.5m) at a payout ratio of 86% and yielded 9.5%. FY2017 yielded 7%.

Nothing available now it will have to move up, remember there are only 110m shares in issue and 86% of those are tightly held.

I have seen plays like this shoot 10p+ in a day due stock shortage.

Cannot understand why this has been sitting so low, that special dividend RNS of nearly 4p a share should have been a catalyst for a major re-rate.

Cantors say 97p

I think I may have taken the last 10.000 under 48p. It is now NT only at 48p

I am in for some of these over the next week, been looking for an income/capital growth gold producer, this company seems stable and most importantly moving into a growth period.

The dividend is knockout, 6.5p paid this FY, with gold higher can see this only getting better. Yield is amazing.

thanks for mentioning this hidden gem on the wanobi aaz board. I am looking to buy in. A very generous yield and a capital growth what is not to like.

If its valued at 20 * dividend payment that equals 130p a share. half of that amount would be just fine along with a very healthy divi while waiting.

I see this as a £1+ share, a market cap of £100m is entirely justified based on a number of metrics.

What is there not to like.

Record production
Increasingly higher grades
Low cost
Progressive dividend policy
Currently yields 13%
84% of shares tightly held
Highly cash generative

Nigh impossible to buy in any size, can see a major move coming.

Nothing available on-line and heavily bid, who would sell now when this yields 14% (paid 6.5p dividend in the FY)

Still under radar but so was AAZ until it moved from 40p to 95p in a few months!

TSG - Cantor target price 97p

The last presentation shows cash costs in a range of $600oz - $650oz

They have paid out $18.5m in dividends in the last 2 years verses the current market cap of £48m

I am surprised more are not looking at this, AAZ doubled in quick time having declared a strong dividend but TSG outweigh their payment by a country mile yet have half the market cap?

I've had a quick look through reports. Do they report the AISC?

Do not think people are ramping, it looks a great investment proposition, had never heard of this company but saw the words 'special dividend' when looking at RNS feeds.

When I looked into the matter I saw a near 4p a share payment, and they also paid another 2.5p earlier - making 6.5p for 12 months.

That means the yield is over 13% and what is more they usually pay a 'special dividend' and have a progressive policy.

If Cantors have a price target of 97p then it looks very cheap.

Looks like word is getting out about this undervalued beauty.

Yield is 14% including the special dividend which has been paid 2 times in the last 3 years - looks like another will be paid next year.

So Cantors have a target price of 97p

Shenanigans going on the with share price, a classic sign they are struggling to cope with the buy side demand. Bid is higher than advertised and nigh impossible to buy in size.

If they show it as a large % riser it will attract more volume which they cannot cope with.

Basically this is breaking out into a new trading range ASAP.

Did not realize Cantors had a price target of 97p

Hardly surprised.
