04/10/2016 12:54 | Massive tree shake. More buys than sells. Feel for those PI's who were duped by the market makers today. | 40toolong
04/10/2016 12:41 | Sea of filtered trolls, they're all back. Hahhaha Buy when there's blood on the streets. Anybody has the current PEG and PE and forward at today's share price? | blondeamon
04/10/2016 12:19 | Wow whats happened | nw99
04/10/2016 12:15 | Sharewatch had firm stops in place at 190p. | sheep_herder

04/10/2016 12:07 | 120p or bad news coming I fear | tattooed93
04/10/2016 12:06 | 170p for TRAK? Are you kidding me? This was at 400p start of year and since then they booked multiple contracts, showed 50% growth and started paying a dividend. Yes they lost 0.5m from higher costs due to Brexit but their orders are up 37% in the months after Brexit and in H2 we always have way more sales. Topped up today and will keep doing so. There's nothing wrong with the company and unless I see otherwise I'm a buyer. P.S They should fire their broker and PR though, they're definitely useless. | blondeamon
04/10/2016 12:02 | well, either something has gone wrong and we don't know about it yet or, as I suspect, someone is offloading stock in the background, | salpara111
04/10/2016 11:33 | apols 1/2 O/T az4hr. I'd becareful with FRP, their legal services business model is not much different to what is out there, contrary to what they claim. They are fighting a pricing battle. Suspect TRAK will have the same issue..... | pj 1
04/10/2016 11:27 | There have been a lot of transactions shown as sells although they are at the mid-price. | rogash
04/10/2016 11:13 | this is getting painful for my psychology i hold this nd fairpoint when u think it cant drop any further it goes further down i should just pay up for quality seeking value is a fools game | az4hr
04/10/2016 11:05 | Just topped up. It amazes me that people get the jitters when they hear nothing. No news is good news. A company busy with doing what it needs to do. Patience is needed for stocks like this. If you don't have it, can I buy your shares off you for 170p please? Thank you very much | 40toolong
04/10/2016 11:03 | Bought more. | blondeamon
04/10/2016 10:08 | Just had an alert fire up at 175p. Time to buy. :-) | sheep_herder
04/10/2016 09:30 | I suspect this will be my last foray into the small caps. Every now and again I succumb to what appears to be a growth story but when I look back at my small cap performance over the last 5 years I see that I have produced less return than I have from my FTSE 350 investments. The unexpected profit warning here was a real kick in the teeth but I am continuing to hold as the business does appear to have strong organic growth and is generating cash. Clearly they will not be able to raise any more money for new acquisitions until the share price is back above 320 which could take some time. | salpara111
29/9/2016 17:30 | I would have thought the £500k increase in component costs due to the fall in GBP is the cause. EPS was downgraded from 17p to 15.7p after the last update. That said, EPS growth is virtually twice the PE and there is virtually no debt so it is a strong hold for me!! | martinthebrave
29/9/2016 16:08 | Must be because order intake was +37% higher in the first 5 months. Share price lower around the same amount. Makes perfect sense. / sarcasm off +1 to what 40toolong said, lots of deals around and TRAK is quiet. We don't know much but the share price is so oversold it's just ridiculous now. | blondeamon
29/9/2016 15:55 | I believe the reason is that there has been lots of interesting things happening this week in the telematics sector but nothing for Trakm8. Masternaught won a fleet deal with PSA and Geotag have partnered with a large US company. People will be thinking that Trakm8 is the leftovers. They maybe right. I however believe that the Insurance relationships are the ones that hold the value. An insurer can dictate what a fleet should do and will invcentivise the need for technology against premium reductions and risk management support. My view. My view alone. DYOR Topped Up!! | 40toolong
29/9/2016 15:22 | So anyone have any idea why the sentiment here is so poor? | nurdin
24/9/2016 16:57 | APAD21 Sep '16 - 08:33 - 6575 of 6604 0 0 The TRAK thread (my bad habit) is mesmerising. Like a religious meeting - blondaemon is the pastor, with loads of data and expertise, but only one vector for the argument. | tattooed93
23/9/2016 11:31 | September will be a very hot month for new devices IMO. Van registrations up, car manufacturing up, everyone coming back from holidays so demand and installations will rise etc Same time last year they installed 4800 devices added every month for the first 5 months. Then in September they installed double that, 8000 devices. This year we have the pending 5,000 Allianz contract already which hadn't started yet at the AGM. They had just finished Scottish power's 1600 devices. Plus all the normal traffic we get so I expect a similar number to take us above the 175,000 units I predicted for H1. Number of devices is key here. | blondeamon
22/9/2016 14:08 | Thanks for the comparison. Very basic but interesting. There's also some insightful comments, in the comments section. Cheers | knowbodyyouno
22/9/2016 10:50 | SH. The absence of institutional investors (IIs) on the Trak share register may well turn out to be a bonus if the share price ever takes off. But the company did place a sizeable chunk of its shares at 333p to fund the Route Monkey acquisition less than a year ago. Trak’s share price is down by more than a third since then so it has work to do to restore confidence amongst the backers of that placing. Trak looks decidedly cheap when compared with Quartix. According to Stockopedia the latter is trading on a forward p/e of 35.8 with 11% forecast earnings growth whilst Trak is trading on 12.8 times earnings and forecast 24% eps growth. But the huge difference in valuation has yet to tempt big investors which makes me a tad nervous. There is an interesting comparison of the two companies on the Stockopedia website. hxxp://www.stockoped | bottomfisher |
