03/7/2012 16:37 | Fair point Marl.., but I tend to be conservative and the promise is more than in the price. Also, little local companies can't do this year on year. So, I rate it as very expensive at the moment. I'm not a trader so I will hold, but not increase. apad | apad
03/7/2012 16:03 | APAD- I think using the historic PER for the period 1st August 2010- 31st July 2011 is a bit unfair here, seeing we're less than a month away from year end, and we've had a ridiculous number of 'trading ahead of expectations' statements. Broker expectations are for a pre-tax profit of around 3 million, giving a PER of around 11, and a PEG of around 0.1. Again, last year's free cashflow seems a bit of a pointless figure to use (as they've clearly had a transformative year, with revenues more than doubling) | marlint111
03/7/2012 15:55 | PI feeding frenzy - expect to see some biggish sales. Historic PER of 27, Price to free cash flow 19. Expensive for a little local company: 44 employees (3 jobs on offer), £29m market cap. apad | apad
03/7/2012 14:35 | Well thank you David! But credit where credit is due, it was one of Carmensfella's posts that alerted me in the first instance so I was only adding another view, not coming up with a startling new opportunity. Cue Carmensfella to arrive to lay the credit at someone else's door! Lets hope that all this mutual congratulation is not the catalyst for a collapse in the share price! | timpernel
03/7/2012 13:38 | Timpernel It was one of your posts on TMF that alerted me to TCRS. So many thanks. I also hold C21. | wilmdav
03/7/2012 13:02 | I hold both C21 and TRCS and have done for about three or four months now. C21 has about broken even over that period (adjusting for the cash back) whereas TRCS is up about 40%, but I agree that there are similarities. The main problem for C21 is that Gyllenhammar looks like he is selling down his holding, which appears to be holding back the share price. I love the fact that even in a relatively routine announcement regarding early settlement of deferred consideration, there is in effect a trading update - or at least a gloss on last week's announcement. I love a company that under-promises and over-delivers consistently and that seems to be the constant theme with Tracsis. | timpernel
03/7/2012 12:50 | I only started looking at these over the weekend and crept onboard this morning before the announcement. There is probably less risk and reward going forward than say a couple of years ago but still appears to be plenty of momentum. TCSR and 21st Century Technology (C21) must have had a good look at each other. I see the CEO is only 33 years old. He certainly seems to know what he is doing in relation to acquisitions. | wilmdav
03/7/2012 11:51 | Very confident about future, great news. | tech

03/7/2012 11:04 | A further bullish update contained in news of settlement of MPEC deferred consideration. "Looking ahead, the intelligent infrastructure market seems set for substantial growth which we are well positioned to take advantage of." Importantly after settlement they still have in excess of £6m net cash....again this suggests 25p+ cash per share. Lovely ;-) Regards, GHF | glasshalfull
03/7/2012 10:55 | John McArthur, Chief Executive Officer commented "We are delighted with the way MPEC has performed since acquisition, which is reflected in the fact that the full amount was earned within one year as opposed to two. This successful performance is testament to the quality of our products and technology and excellent relationships with our major customers. Looking ahead, the intelligent infrastructure market seems set for substantial growth which we are well positioned to take advantage of." All good.... | pj 1
02/7/2012 20:38 | Hi battlebus No, I don't have a price target. WHI have also failed to give this a price target until the company provide a 2013 outlook as medicated it he last RNS on trading. I'm looking forward to speaking with Management following results and issue of guidance for 2013 which will provide a better handle on whether growth rates sustainable, addressable market, overseas plans, etc. Until that time I'll remain a content holder of the stock and whish that my other holding performed in similar fashion...in terms of positive announcements & share price appreciation ;-) Kind regards, GHF | glasshalfull
02/7/2012 19:55 | Up 3% before the notifications today but still substantial holdings. Onwards and upwards to results... | pj 1

26/6/2012 15:09 | Good to see an innovative, original product doing so well. And what a refreshing share price chart. Reminds me of LOQ in it's earlier days. Also a unique, new product and they managed not to be taken over. Shares went from 4p to 300p in c.10 years. Hope for your sakes this company stays independent, for the best long-term returns. | bozzy_s
26/6/2012 11:37 | Lost too many good companies because of such thinking m... Wash your mouth out with soap and water :-) apad | apad
26/6/2012 11:35 | Anyone any thoughts on who a natural acquirer of Tracsis might be. I'm in no hurry to see the company bought out, but it wouldn't surprise me to see IP Group/Uni of Leeds looking for an buyer as a natural way to exit. One of the companies heavily involved in rail infrastructure could be a contender (e.g. Balfour Beatty). They would probably have the muscle to sell into a lot more places and countries. Just a thought... | marlint111
26/6/2012 11:29 | APAD- I think the maiden dividend is a good sign that the directors aren't intending to use cashflow to 'go-shopping'. Hopefully we'll see bumped up when the results come in. | marlint111
26/6/2012 11:21 | 1.06333 !! Hoping to double in a year !!! | pj 1 |
