13/2/2017 09:03 | Looks like an opportunity, should I buy some more or not? | wingrove4
12/1/2017 12:08 | A write up on tracsis here. hxxp://www.yorkshire | tp6
17/11/2016 22:15 | Good growth in sales and earnings . The business makes a high return on capital and unlike most tech companies they expense development costs . They deserve a premium rating for their consistency and ,because returns on capital are circa 20% you can expect good growth to come . Ignore the doom - mangers because quality deserves respect. | buffetteer
15/11/2016 16:38 | Results the day after tomorrow. Here are my concerns: TRCS “Look and Feel”. 8th January, John McArthur, Chief Executive, disposed of 120,000 ordinary shares of 0.4p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, at an average price of 515.9p per Ordinary Share. 10 Mar 2016 IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) (“IP Group” or “the Group” or “the Company”), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, is pleased to announce that it has realised its entire holding in portfolio company Tracsis plc. The Group received net cash proceeds of £13.1m from the sale. Sean Lippell, Non-Executive Director and former corporate law partner, has departed with immediate effect. He has been removed from the website. Friday 8 April, John Nelson, Non-Executive Director, disposed of 130,000 ordinary shares of 0.4p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, at a price of 500p per Ordinary Share. 19 April 2016Uni Leeds sells 500,000 1,000,000 left. 25 April Leeds Uni disposal less than 4% left. No large framework order. US order small, could still take years - what is their driver. Acquisitions look bitty. Missed a big one, but “it wasn’t good enough for us.” Doesn’t return cash to shareholders. Only 8 solid job vacancies. So, on the whole, looks to be ex-growth to me. apad | apad
26/8/2016 10:00 | PRINTED MORE SHARES AGAIN TODAY. Does anyone know of an easy way to check the rate of change of shares in issue? apad | apad
22/8/2016 09:25 | No, all looks good to me - onwards and upwards.......... | stuart37
22/8/2016 09:02 | Positive trading update today. I haven't spotted anything worrying. | mctmct
17/8/2016 07:28 | Need a decent Network Rail order under the Framework Agreement and we might see the share price approach: "8th January, John McArthur, Chief Executive, disposed of 120,000 ordinary shares of 0.4p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company, at an average price of 515.9p per Ordinary Share." apad | apad
17/8/2016 07:17 | Excellent news, I believe further patience will be rewarded. | lomax99
17/8/2016 06:44 | Bigger than the number suggests; $0.4m to be fulfilled in just 5 months. That can't be much coverage. Concept proven, reasonable initial order. No surprise if more news early next year. | binarydave
17/8/2016 06:37 | Not big, but a genuine first step. Phew! apad | apad
17/8/2016 06:13 | "North American contract win Tracsis plc, a leading provider of software and services for the traffic data and transportation industry, is pleased to announce that it has signed a significant order with a North American Class 1 railroad operator for its Remote Condition Monitoring (RCM) technology, which marks the Group's first major contract in North America. Under the terms of the agreement, the initial order comprises the outright purchase of RCM hardware units, a software licence for the Group's data aggregation and analysis tool Centrix, and various ancillary products. The RCM units will be installed in the coming months across multiple geographic locations on the client's network. The total order value is in excess of $0.4m and is expected to be fulfilled before the end of 2016." | binarydave
26/7/2016 09:26 | 10 Mar 2016 IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) (“IP Group” or “the Group” or “the Company”), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, is pleased to announce that it has realised its entire holding in portfolio company Tracsis plc. The Group received net cash proceeds of £13.1m from the sale, bringing total proceeds to date, including dividends, to £14.3m. This represents an Internal Rate of Return of approximately 58% and a multiple of approximately 38 times the Group’s investment of £0.4m. | apad
09/6/2016 12:54 | No comments = no interest. Perhaps. apad ps It's that "faith" word again! | apad
09/6/2016 12:39 | A recent article from Condition Monitoring MD, still hyping the US opportunities goo.gl/CiOHbX | binarydave
08/6/2016 15:49 | The business is much bigger now and the small team have no doubt a lot on their hands . The positive ex.conics of their niche businesses stands them on good stead so I will keep the faith. | buffetteer
08/6/2016 15:44 | Trading announcement 12 Aug last year. Still only 5 vacancies and none in Condition Monitoring. I expect it will carry on drifting over the summer unless there is a warning, a decent contract, or an acquisition. apad | apad
08/6/2016 15:36 | I can see this is a good entry point. We have had many sell offs in the past and it presents a good buying opportunity I have held this year for many years and it has been my best investment. I realise that I should not become too attached, that I have taken profits in the past and will do again when this year is overbought | wingrove4
08/6/2016 15:28 | SP gradually moving south from last two months. Hope some good news is released | neurolodger
23/5/2016 16:05 | We're 20% off the YTD high and 10% off the selling price of large holders. The US is bluebirds and sunny uplands. The last two acquisitions look odd. The market prices for the future not the past. Too right I feel harsh. apad | apad
23/5/2016 15:38 | A little harsh I fear iPad remind me what they've done wrong in the past 5 years .. I'm struggling ? So yes I do have faith otherwise you wouldn't back the Mangement over long periods of time and thus likely miss out on compounded growth | buffetteer
23/5/2016 15:18 | He is 66 - horrid things can happen at that age. The alternative is that he is resigning 'cos of practices he disapproves of. Been there 3 years. I don't think I am worried about this, although I could talk myself into being worried. I still really don't like the selling though. I feel at a disadvantage. apad ps Buffetter: "faith" you are joking - this is investing not religion. If TRCS puts a foot wrong you can put your "compounding" where the sun don't shine. | apad
23/5/2016 08:47 | I wonder why Sean Lippell, Non-Executive Director and former corporate law partner, has departed with immediate effect. He has been removed from the website this morning, too. | mctmct
08/5/2016 14:51 | In balance to the negativity it's important to keep in mind the fundamentals . Earnings are due to increase from 18p to over 21p this year and 25p next year . These are big increases which deserve our support imho. The management have substantial holdings now and have been discilplined in achieving Roce of 20%. If there's one company thats likely to be far larger in the exit five years than it is now i would wager its Trcs. Keep the faith and let the power of compounding do its work . | buffetteer |
