That's great for Stevenage but we'll still be stuck with same management here Bagpuss. We'll probably get told we're doing the boards for Elons Musks commercial space flight programme soon in 2056. Still it's in the pipeline.

SCL.Hopefully purchasers see all that and you are freed soon! Would maybe give your colleagues in the other bit another role of the dice too

I have to say weliveliketrump, you could well be right, it does seem very much a cloak & dagger scenario, only not as exciting!! I did check on the history and Stevenage does have longevity on its side, which makes it even more surprising considering TWD couldn't make it work. Maybe the new MD hasn't performed, maybe getting rid of the whole management team and starting again is the solution. I have friends who work in the electronics sector and they do say there is a plethora of PCB board shops in the UK who are very good, maybe that is a factor. Who knows for sure as we certainly aren't being kept updated. All I do know is that the share price isn't responding positively and you can practically buy the whole of TWD for less than a used Toyota Prius!

But are you guys surprised. It's just been secrets and false claims since day one. We have no work, Stevenage been about for 50 years and in 3 years look at what's happened. The senior people at both TWD and Stevenage have no idea or concept so many peoples livelihoods are at risk.

Yes Bagpuss67, I did see that too, plus the fact there is no new RNS updating us all, one can only assume it isn't good news! TWD must be running out of cash soon, and with no news on the fire sale of the Stevenage site (it's gone very quiet), the future is sadly looking very bleak! One can only question the BOD for allowing it to get this far. If Stevenage site was losing money, why let it go on for so long? The EV customer appears to have kept their investors informed and stated over a year ago that production was delayed! What have TWD & the Stevenage site been doing for over a year!!!

Welive, I get your frustration, those at the top and maybe lower down benefit, but the long and short of it is we have all invested, some work there some of us don't, we trust that what we are told is correct and invest. I lose less than others on here, but still lose, at 0.0048p today my investment is massively down!!! Some would say that's my choice and I agree, but when wages increase and yet my investment doesn't, it can be frustrating. SCLgoffer is obviously not someone who benefits, then neither has any of us, maybe those at the top do, but that's life. I just hope the sale goes through and everyone wins. If not we all go down!!!!!

SCLGoffer, sorry it's not nice to have facts put in front of you and I sincerely wish everyone at Stevenage success, I hope that someone with very deep pockets buys you and makes a success of the business, it's a very tough market you are in, as TWD have found out. All the best for the future and hopefully we can all come out of this with something other than regrets and a bit of dignity.

Yes Ales. Not a good position for any site at the minute it would seem. Everyone must who works for the group must surely be worried. Bad decisions wherever you look from this side and it would seem the new MD appointment simply has not worked. I'm sure some will come out of it smelling of roses as we investors and staff get shafted good and proper.

Welive, SCLgoffer is obviously worried and he should be, it's losing money according to the recorded accounts, but that's not because TWD haven't invested, they have, including in wage increases, the new management team was put in place according to the RNS 30.9.22, maybe they have taken the wage levels higher, who knows. What we as investors have to remember is that our money is also at risk, lets not get petty, we all lose if it goes down!!!!

SclGoffer, I totally get your frustration, but looking at the accounts of SCL over years prior to TWD buying you, your wage bill has increased significantly and that surely can only be down to TWD investing in you, the people. Maybe I stand corrected unless the management have taken big wage increases, which does happen, I would say that what has happened by way of putting Stevenage up for sale is down to poor performance and monies being lost, rather than TWD not investing?

I hope it works out for you sclgoffer and the rest of the staff at Stevenage without our input. People's livelihoods at risk here and that's horrible. Your thoughts on our David Cameron execs is not for me to comment as they look after us well here. Good luck

I suggest all read the last RNS and Placing material.TWD is about future contracts-the past has gone and it isn’t coming back.

SCL is a business with turnover-it needs some surgery but under new ownership

Exactly welive, the 2nd we'll know more and good luck. Hopefully to those at Stevenage too, there's plenty of jobs up that way that pay really well and it's not far from London either, so hopefully a silvercloud really does exist for everyone and they get a job sorted before what looks like the inevitable happens.

As somebody said further down. Let's see what the 2nd of June brings news wise. I think Cv's should be updated though and quickly. luckily we have a decent pcb shop just close by that may take some of us.
Good luck to all.
