20/12/2022 17:49 | doubling down? They need to increase their holdings by 10-15 times to even get back 50% of their money back at 5p or something. | shakesmaster
20/12/2022 17:45 | It's going back to 1p whatever and I will be participating in the placing and doubling down and picking up more on the market at 1p or less. | bagpuss67
20/12/2022 17:39 | >>>>> That would not be fair for many reasons: 1 - That would mean the "forward sellers" got away with Murder 2 - Many will not be able to buy or sale, so a false market being created ahead of the placing and open offer. 3 - A penalty for doing so would stop those occurrences Naturally that is my point | cielos
20/12/2022 17:38 | texas ranger20 Dec '22 - 17:31 - 1438 of 1439 0 0 0 I suspect the former, as otherwise, they would have allowed fraud. You think this scenario has not happened before? It has and I'm going to see if I can remember the example - At the end of the day it is about an orderly market - | tomboyb
20/12/2022 17:35 | A real shame this firm has turned into a right dog for investors | danmart2
20/12/2022 17:31 | I suspect the former, as otherwise, they would have allowed fraud. Furthermore, what would be the point of the suspension then? If you continue as you go. People buying 250K and 500K shares now own big parts of the company. If it re-opens at 1p on 6 Jan 2023. Many will not even pay for the underwriters. | texas ranger
20/12/2022 17:30 | So LSE says a settlement has to happen within the time frame. So about people asking for their shares certificate from Crest? Now everyone knows LSE knows, LSE breaking market rules which they have clearly put in the rns, will be open to litigation. tomboyb20 Dec '22 - 17:24 - 1434 of 1435 Spot on - I suspect the relisting will occur after the GM. I cannot see otherwise - It is not fair, but it is the way it is for an orderly market - | texas ranger
20/12/2022 17:27 | If they decide on the former then with the current market cap of 300k, I'd expect this to go anywhere between 5-10p as a guess - That is if there are enough shares to go around to allow that to happen - Realistically, it will not happen - | tomboyb
20/12/2022 17:27 | People holding a large number of shares now can force the BOD out of extraordinary EGM before 6 Jan 2023; you saw the number of shares that have been traded. All win votes in favour, according to you, so IIS will throw money into outfits for what reason exactly? Someone posted that 10% of the placing will go towards two directors' annual salaries. | texas ranger
20/12/2022 17:24 | PWhite7320 Dec '22 - 16:43 - 1426 of 1433 0 3 0 How this pans out all depends on the LSE. Two things can happen the forward sellers assure the LSE when suspension is lifted they will be buying back on the open market to sell to PI buyers. This will cause a bear squeeze and the shares to rise sharply or the LSE can let them off the hook and not lift the suspension until after the placing on 06/01/2023 when the required shares will be available to all forward sellers. Spot on - I suspect the relisting will occur after the GM. I cannot see otherwise - It is not fair but it is the way it is for an orderly market - | tomboyb
20/12/2022 17:21 | bigtune888 - "Shareholders who lost 99% of their money do not care if they lose the 1%. See the shareholder register below as of 30/09/2022. There have been no TR1 sellers since that date. The shareholders who lost 99% of their money are the directors and the major shareholders. All will vote in favour of the resolutions. For any PIs who did lose 99% and any who weren't holding the trick is to get in before production starts at their factories next spring. | pwhite73
20/12/2022 17:20 | How the hell can they settle? Normal market size will revert now; otherwise, people will buy loads, and the deficit will increase. Market makers are on watch now by Big brother. | texas ranger
20/12/2022 17:14 | How do you know? It's not voted. It's precisely fraud, by the looks of it. It's like deciding an election before or before counting starts. Shareholders who lost 99% of their money do not care if they lose the 1%. | bigtune888
20/12/2022 17:08 | The priority of the LSE is an orderly market. So things like fraud and criminal activity would not even cross their mind. The highest punishment any member firm would receive is a slap on the wrist. The new shares are due to come to market on 06/01/2023 at 1p anyway so its not like the forward selling was based on nothing for that would be tantamount to fraud with a severe punishment for all those involved. | pwhite73
20/12/2022 16:56 | Pwhite do you know NMS here? | bigtune888
20/12/2022 16:54 | Pwhite letting them off the hook when criminal activity has taken place will put them on the hook. Crimes pay, if you get my meaning. The problem they have is that there were no reduced holdings, and there were trades in order of 9% of shares in issue. LSE waiting for the shares settlement update from Crest now. | bigtune888
20/12/2022 16:44 | @PWhite73 The "let off" scenario sounds like collusion or fraud to me | cliffpeat
20/12/2022 16:43 | How this pans out all depends on the LSE. Two things can happen the forward sellers assure the LSE when suspension is lifted they will be buying back on the open market to sell to PI buyers. This will cause a bear squeeze and the shares to rise sharply or the LSE can let them off the hook and not lift the suspension until after the placing on 06/01/2023 when the required shares will be available to all forward sellers. | pwhite73
20/12/2022 16:35 | I have just checked for 4 days. We could be back next Wednesday 28th of December. | bigtune888
20/12/2022 16:31 | I supposed after the forward sellers were forced to buy back, then came the placing. So it's about settlement now. The same will happen here, LSE wants them to settle, and they have no choice. So you won't be seeing 100K or 250K, or 350K shares bidding; it will be in market size. Glad I picked a few sub-1.10p. Just have to see; it was a nearly £4K punt. | bigtune888
20/12/2022 16:30 | Also let's not fool ourselves, RDG was caught up in a the SPAC craze so everything & anything was ramped to high heaven associated with that. Market conditions are very different now, and Trackwise sadly are a failing business that have been given a stay of execution with a shocking last ditch placing - so any dreams of this rocketing on a return from suspension are pie in the sky. | 32campomar
20/12/2022 16:25 | Can't remember exactly but it certainly jumped. And then crashed & burned ! | 32campomar |
