16/8/2022 11:28 | Higher still... Dare I say it, the short term gap appears to close at £2. | brucie5
12/8/2022 20:33 | "Hold" in today's IC I believe. Peeps gradually coming round to the story. | brucie5
10/8/2022 14:15 | Plenty of cranks on these message boards - and the smart ones are simply 'talking their own book' - i.e., have a short position. If you had bought a few weeks back you would be up 50% now. | jezza123
10/8/2022 14:02 | reddirish10 Aug '22 - 14:06 - 814 of 815 0 0 1 Celebrating my hefty top up yesterday. I've held for several years, and am still not quite back to invested capital but those dividends do help. -------------------- Well done. I've been told for some time that these shares were going in only one direction - downwards- and was it a week ago that J777J6 told us they were going under? Yet meanwhile those closest to the company were intimating that something was being overlooked, while we saw material upgrade to its Stocko rankings. Shares that fall from a great height (75%) and manage to turnaround can be great holds. Unless I hear material evidence to the contrary, I'm not selling this any time soon | brucie5
10/8/2022 13:57 | TP ICAP posted its Interims for the 6 months ended June 30th 2022 this morning. Revenues were up across all business divisions, Group revenue was up 12% (or 15% in reported currency). The business is on track to achieve £25m of cost savings by the end of 2022. Reported EBIT increased by 57% to £99m, reported EBIT margin increased to 9.2% from 6.1%. The balance sheet is being strengthened, around £100 million of cash has been identified that will be generated or freed up by the end of 2023 and used to repay debt. And an interim dividend per share of 4.5 pence will be paid. The Group also expects improved profitability from Liquidnet in H2. Valuation looks very attractive, forward PE ratio at 5.6x is top decile for the IB & IS sector. The balance sheet looks strong, there is a lot to like here. Share price momentum was lacking, but today’s release has triggered a 13% spike higher. A multi-year floor looks to be in and there looks to be growth and attractive valuation here. BUY.... ...from WealthOracle | km18

10/8/2022 09:15 | that's right - it's the end of the world, but we can increase our interim dividend by more than 10%.... | jezza123
10/8/2022 08:56 | Hold the front page. The End Of The World isn't nigh. | jeffian
10/8/2022 08:17 | Congratulations holders! This is very good to see. | brucie5
10/8/2022 07:39 | Wonder if it was automated, momentum-driven algorithm-based trading bots which added to the more rational falls over the last three years? If so, let's hope they operate in the same way as things look more favourable and share price moves upwards. | lindowcross
10/8/2022 06:20 | Sounds like a turnaround for the brave. Eyes on the chart this morning, and whether the market is willing to give credit. But company appears to be listening to shareholders. | brucie5
10/8/2022 06:11 | Much better performance this time | coxsmn
05/8/2022 16:42 | Yes,I listened to it at the time. Pretty compelling rationale | value hound
05/8/2022 14:31 | Did anyone listen to Chris Mills' views re TCAP here - hxxps://audioboom.co - at 37:45? | boystown
05/8/2022 11:04 | Just pierced the 200ma. Let's see if it holds on the retrace, but suddenly/potentially it's looking a lot better. Maybe simply a function of bottom fishing across oversold markets. | brucie5
04/8/2022 16:01 | Top of the Leader board on stocko. A complex business indeed, Lindow. We're now right up against resistance, so while I expect reversal tomorrow, if it it advances beyond this point there might just be something up..? | brucie5
04/8/2022 13:33 | It's a complex business of which I know almost nothing, probably like most on this board, but I understand from contacts that Liquidnet is highly-rated both for competence, and in another sense as a tech business. It's in data, is moving away from voice broking, so in the right direction. I'll continue to hold, as I have for years now. | lindowcross
04/8/2022 11:45 | J777J2 Aug '22 - 07:17 - 798 of 799 0 0 1 Cowboy outfit Cum Ex scandal still hovers Target price Zero -------------------- That's a rather dismal prognostic. And the market doesn't seem to agree - yet. That said, it's already been in decline for three years, reached 25% of peak value: 1.30 is now the obvious resistance for current rebound. It's either a bargain or a basket case. ;) | brucie5

26/7/2022 18:09 | TCAP just moved up Stocko's ranking, from 82 to 90. FWIW. | brucie5
16/7/2022 22:03 | Thanks Ken. | brucie5
16/7/2022 13:40 | There certainly is a lot of bad news in the price and it might bounce from this price for a short term trade. Would caution against long term hold. The markets including commodities are going to platforms i.e. not voice brokers. Micheal Spencer realised that years ago and flogged this shower all his. Then sold the shares the following week.. For it to be a success in the medium or long term they need their own platforms to be fully integrated and into an already crowded space at the market makers. They have no successful track record of doing so and every record of making a pig's ear of the integration. | dhoult12 |
