24/10/2020 14:06 | On those 24 prospects it’s worth listening to this interview that was recorded pre Coho where PB explains their strategy of twinning old holes, in the four initial wells, before going on to geological targets that appear from the language to be as big as Royston (at 0.25 TCF) or bigger in some instances. Listen in particular from 4m 20sec, but actually listen to the whole lot and it’s clear they had a very firm plan Pre Coho and are executing it methodically with the size of the opportunities increasing as they geologically discount the risks through their drilling. | davidblack
24/10/2020 14:02 | The more observant may also have noticed a potential deeper target @Chinook aswell ;) | ngms27
24/10/2020 13:58 | Hmmmm as you are uncharacteristically 'very, very excited' by the potential of Casca Deep ngms then that makes me very, very, very excited! | spawny100
24/10/2020 13:55 | Depends if the faults between the two targets are sealing faults or not...If you look at the presentation slide 11 you will see faults between Chinook Herrera and the undrilled Casc Deep Herrera. Three faults between top Herrera and two between Herrera on Chinook. If I were a gambling man I'd say the probability is that the faults aren't sealing... | ngms27
24/10/2020 13:37 | Ngms, I’m confused by what you wrote: “What the new presentation makes clear is that the secondary target of Casc Deep is actually a different fault block to the already discovered gas in the deepest part of Chinook.” I obviously need educating on something or have misunderstood what you said. How does your statement hold good when Paul has said: “ We think that potentially the deep prospect at Casca and the deep zone at Chinook could be connected” Buffy | buffythebuffoon
24/10/2020 13:20 | Some comments from PB during the Proactive Presentation Ortoire - " There are not many places in the world where you get 1500ft to 2,000ft of Turbidite section - we are right in the middle of the main fairway" Ortoire - 2020/21 Drilling Programme * Casca Deep - "Casca Deep is a very, very large structure sitting under Cascadura" "It's a 40 day drill - hopefully we'll have a Christmas present for everybody by the middle of December" ( Uncharacteristically upbeat comment from PB) * Cascadura - "3 to 4 development wells - even if Casca Deep does not work" * Chinook - "multiple development wells, subject to successful testing, the discovery is bigger than what we were expecting" In answer to a question: "Yes. I would call Chinook 'World Class' " * Royston Deep Drill - " has always been from day one the largest prospect on the bloc - it will offset an existing 1965 Shell well" " We think Chinook has significantly derisked the Royston well - and has very large potential reserves" Beyond that - "We have 24 different Ortoire prospects. Casca Deep and Royston will be drills 4 and 5. Following that we've identified all these other inclines and sand bodies in the heart of the fairway (page 16 on the latest presentation) - with different horizons and sands which is setting up a very long exploration runway for us - 10 years" The Chinook Drill and a potential connection between Casca Deep and Chinook "The team made a call on Chinook when at the Terminal Depth to continue drilling as they had started to see hydrocarbons again.....so it looks like this - drilling the much larger deeper sheets - is going to be a really interesting opportunity for us" "The Chinook drill is the first time that hydrocarbons have been found in the very, very lower sheet" "There are two significances to this: 1 - "Its the first time a well has been drilled (On Ortoire) that deep (to over 10,000ft)" 2 - "We think that potentially the deep prospect at Casca and the deep zone at Chinook could be connected - this would give a prospect with a much greater aerial extent than what we see in the upper sheets, and really sets up a very big opportunity for us and for the country, if these lower sheets are also hydrocarbon bearing." "Stand by on the Casca Deep drill its going to be very exciting" Unquestionably, 2020 has been a completely transformational year for Touchstone Exploration( and many of its shareholders), yet incredibly, with each drill result, the potential of TXP's Ortoire Bloc's turbidite fairway sweet spot acreage suggests 2021 and beyond could prove even better. 24/10/2020 11:37 | What the new presentation makes clear is that the secondary target of Casc Deep is actually a different fault block to the already discovered gas in the deepest part of Chinook.Very very exiting as it looks huge. | ngms27
24/10/2020 11:03 | Indeed and ideally without the vicious swings! | davidblack
24/10/2020 09:46 | If Cascadura is an elephant and Chinook even bigger then just what is the envelope size for Cascadura Deep or Chinook Deep now, let alone should they both connect at depths? Apparently the envelope size of Royston is circa 1 TCF, at this point, with historic sniffs of gas from a prior well. Although as to whether there is any commercial gas at Royston is of course the big question, followed by how much of that possible estimated size might be actual be there, if any. So it’s a long way to go before any victories or even defeats can be declared but unlike most “Horses” TXP is actually in the running at a “Group One” race! That’s rare for such a small company. This all bodes to raised blood pressure at regular intervals over the next 12 months as we see if any of these maybes make the grade. Best to take lots of exercise and lose weight if required as your blood pressure may become very elevated if “PB and the Gang” repeat their success to date. Particular thanks for this “Journey” | davidblack
24/10/2020 08:55 | They are indeed.......you could see Paul was excited, trying to hide it, but he was........one gets the feeling that although being talked down as high risk exploration, if Cascadura Deep comes in........it might dwarf Cascadura and Chinook. | pro_s2009
23/10/2020 20:25 | Pro very nice images. | davidblack
23/10/2020 18:30 | Ah and I assume TXP has helped with that!! Best of luck. | dunderheed
23/10/2020 18:15 | Is that "early" retirement Glenn? | dunderheed
23/10/2020 17:50 | Impressive presentation and paul baay comes across well. I sold 25% when it three bagged for me so full carry for me through to my retirement in 2024. Lets see what theya re worth then. | glennborthwick

23/10/2020 17:13 | Apparently this is the important aspect that makes Royston such a huge target: “A large buried fold, undisturbed since the Mid Miocene and with a potential of 700 feet of gas bearing Mid Miocene Herrera sandstones.” Based on comments XM made elsewhere with the emphasis on the undisturbed as that is where a number of major finds have been discovered running from Venezuela down to Guyana in recent years. But best left to the oil geologists to ponder. | davidblack
23/10/2020 16:22 | In case people haven't noticed it I thought it worth pointing out that the white lines on page 11 of the latest presentation indicate the latest drills : Chinook drill - right hand white line, bottom tip part is the new lowest subthrust sheet they encountered Cascadura drill - left hand white line, if you follow the darker line down (from the tip of the white line) you can see it pass through the intermediate sheet and then into the subthrust sheet (which may be connected to the bottom of Chinook) both of which they are targetting in Cascadura deep. | homebrewruss
23/10/2020 16:06 | Easy when they come from Vancouver! Those from Calgary are fine! | davidblack
23/10/2020 15:20 | How can you NOT trust a Canadian in a tie and glasses?!? no brainier. | evilblues
23/10/2020 15:15 | I missed this comment from Paul right at the start of the presentation Experienced team from board level right down through to manigment that have worked with companies who have experienced the EXPLOSIVE GROWTH we are going to see from Touchstone over the next four to five years. | captainfatcat

23/10/2020 14:17 | For those capable of grasping what this all means as one of the lesser people I would be grateful for your thoughts. Summary of the acreage Ortoire Block Exploration Prospectivity 🔸️Wit 🔸️3 of these structures have since been drilled– the COHO Anticline, the Cascadura Anticline which follows the trend of the prolific Penal Barrackpore field, and the Chinook Anticline immediately to the south 🔸️ Our portfolio of stacked structures are refined and migrated to drill ready status as we learn more with each drill. We are surrounded by prolific oil and gas fields which serve as great analogues for our Mid Miocene turbidite and Late Miocene - Pliocene deltaic plays. And as such, additional structures will likely be illuminated in due course as we calibrate with each drill 🔸️ We will now test deeper thrust sheets of Mid Miocene Herrera sands at Cascadura with Cas Deep -1 🔸️ We will then shift focus to the centre of the block where we will drill Royston, a large buried fold, undisturbed since the Mid Miocene and with a potential of 700 feet of gas bearing Mid Miocene Herrera sandstones Touchstone Exploration Inc. | davidblack
