Oh, that's sad news to end with. I'm sure many people with long memories will remember bobobob5 from EEN, GPX, and AST, among others. Who could forget the oil on the rig boots at Anagni?

Yeah, that was reassuring to hear..

He is not ruling out another equity raise, but re-iterated that the bank would be 'excited' to extend them further credit for development drilling, but that he doesn't want to use debt for pure exploration.

Sounds like any equity raise will depend on how they view the additional exploration targets after Royston and how fast he wants to expedite drilling these alongside development drilling. It does feel like there will probably be a raise to cover Royston and extra debt taken on for the development drills at Cascadura and Chinook. No 2nd well at Coho until several years down the line.

I think he will wait for results on Cascadura and the NGC contract to be signed (in the next month or so) first?

I guessed they suspected the deep zone of Chinook and Casca Deep might be connected hence drilling deeper now than their original target at Casca Deep. He sounds confident in saying that Casca Deep is going to be "very exciting".

He just said "Once we get Cascadura and Chinook onstream" - should remove any doubts about commerciality of Chinook (if there were any) - little slip?

The UK has been subsidising gas generators on the QT for years, because you need backup for when the wind don't blow.
It's a bit like hybrid cars. Hey let's save the planet by having two engines in the car. 😊
