14/3/2017 07:08 | Porky - who are you with that still sends letters for stuff like this these days? That's not good enough. | gbcol
13/3/2017 23:10 | Sikhthetech Re open offer ....... Just received the open offer letter today ! .... 3 days after the deadline ..... | porky8
08/3/2017 15:01 | The £325m is great news.... it should help local authorities with the STPs.. this is a big step forward... "When they are formally introduced in April 2017, STPs will provide a framework for the way services will be delivered in their local area; while Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will have more detail on specific diseases. So, for example, an STP will provide a framework for improving treatment for long-term conditions, while the CCG will define in more detail how individual long-term conditions, such as back pain and diabetes, will be managed." | sikhthetech
08/3/2017 14:39 | NHS Sustainability and Transformation Plans | sikhthetech
08/3/2017 14:31 | Budget... Main points regarding Health & social care.. £100m to place more GPs in accident and emergency departments for next winter Additional £325m to allow the first NHS Sustainability and Transformation Plans to proceed An extra £2bn for social care over next three years, with £1bn available in the next year Long-term funding options to be considered but so-called "death tax" on estates ruled out | sikhthetech
07/3/2017 21:34 | nice to see PPH win a new 3 yr contract with NHS Care and Custody Health worth £140k...for 2 UK prisons... | sikhthetech
05/3/2017 14:47 | Porky, well spotted. it's fantastic having an international company like Bayer AG sponsoring. It could lead to more sponsoring from them for other long term conditions or in other practices/CCGs... | sikhthetech
04/3/2017 13:41 | Sikhthetech Did you notice ....... Sponsors of the Stowhealth contract ..... Bayer AG | porky8
01/3/2017 15:52 | Quarter of diagnostic tests on NHS 'not appropriate or necessary' Dr Catherine Calderwood said the ''doctor knows best" culture should give way to "shared decision-making and reducing harmful and wasteful care". This included having "honest conversations" with terminally ill patients who may prefer not to undergo any treatment at all, she said. She said: "Not all people will want the same thing, nor should they. There will be a wide range of views. However an important context for this work is that in surveys of NHS patients over a number of years over one-third of people we care for and support have consistently told us they would like more involvement in decisions about their care." | sikhthetech
28/2/2017 13:30 | All over bar the shouting IMHO.... It is just a matter of time for Bob Holt to successfully build the empire. Nobby | nobbygnome
28/2/2017 11:51 | from yesterday's rns... "The Group has identified a strong pipeline of potential acquisitions in the UK outsourced healthcare sector. Of the identified pipeline, the Directors have a preferred list of four target companies although no formal approaches or negotiations have yet begun. The anticipated consideration for the pipeline of acquisitions identified by the Group ranges from GBP3 million to GBP15 million with the pipeline of acquisitions having revenue of up to GBP60 million." | sikhthetech
27/2/2017 18:51 | Totally raises £18mln via "oversubscribed" placing and open offer and very small discount to current share price | sikhthetech
27/2/2017 16:06 | £18m placing and open offer... I wonder what acquisitions the BoD have identified... I hope they acquire using the same strategy as before.. paying an initial sum then deferred payments... "We have identified a strong pipeline of acquisitions in the UK outsourced healthcare sector and we look forward to updating shareholders on our progress as we build Totally into a leading out-of-hospital healthcare provider in the UK." | sikhthetech
22/2/2017 13:44 | STPs using ‘RightCare approach’ to tackle bed shortages | sikhthetech
11/2/2017 14:45 | There are plenty of other long term conditions which need better detection and monitoring... eg diabetes, COPD, CHD, hypertension, arthritis etc... Multimorbidity is a problem within the NHS.. "People with long-term conditions now account for about 50 per cent of all GP appointments, 64 per cent of all outpatient appointments and over 70 per cent of all inpatient bed days." | sikhthetech
11/2/2017 14:37 | Porky, the interesting point is how TLY got the contact or contract, did they approach the practice or was the practice referred by the CCG... Usually I would expect the CCG to highlight medical conditions and inform the practice on how to improve the detection of them... wasn't that what the QOF system was for? improving detection and giving the practice the incentive to improve and report... If the practice was referred to TLY by the CCG then there is the possibility of further referrals for the CCG's other practices...accordin | sikhthetech
10/2/2017 19:27 | Sikhthetech Exactly ..... Foot in the Door ...... Suffolk new footprint .... Contracts just keep coming ........ Small .. Medium , all we need is a couple of large jointed contracts which will come in time ...... So what have we got to look forward too............ Contracts .. Aquisitions ..more Contracts ..More Aquisitions = Even More Contracts ... | porky8
10/2/2017 10:59 | The rns is actually really good news... The contract is at GP Practice level not CCG level. There are some 7,500 GP practices in England and just over 200 CCGs... Stowhealth Practice has some 17,500 patients so I think £45k for the 1 practice is a good contract value... after the initial training to better detect AF, how many patients are likely to be needing continuous health coaching on AF?? There are also the opportunities to cross sell other services and provide clinical coaching for other long term conditions. There is also the possibility that Suffolk CCG will want to implement the scheme in other practices within their area... | sikhthetech
09/2/2017 09:53 | thanks Luckymouse, interesting analysis.... | sikhthetech
08/2/2017 10:33 | Solid rise in revenue from £580k to £3.7m... on the back of acquisitions... and these being largely coming in H2... so a full year of revenue from the acquisitions should be a lot higher... However, don't know cash position nor expectation on profit.. I would also like an update on Myclinicalcoach; numbers subscribed to date, feedback etc.. Still heading in the right direction with their add and build strategy... I don't mind it being slowing. I'd rather that than the BoD rush in and buy acquisitions for the sake of it... | sikhthetech
08/2/2017 08:05 | Yes indeed a solid update. I think everything is on track for Bob Holt to build an empire, albeit relatively slowly. I see Cenkos are still alone on the bid after the rise this morning, although the next price is now 56p from Shore Capital so it is looking slightly stronger! Nobby | nobbygnome
08/2/2017 07:45 | Solid update today, quiet here even with Bob Holt as chairman. | geraldus
01/2/2017 10:05 | Nobby, still no target price from Cenkos... | sikhthetech
01/2/2017 07:47 | There was another largish buy yesterday (25k). It seems someone is slowly building a stake and is the reason Cenkos are maintaining the 56p bid. Nobby | nobbygnome |
