I have him on filter so have no idea what he is posting. However, as STT says I expect further placings as more acquisitions are announced. How often can you say it, this will not be bad news but actually good news because then the plan is progressing especially if the acquisition is earnings enhancing!

Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story though....

Porky mentions Bob talk about a placing along the journey... why not ask him to clarify...


TLY's strategy is to 'buy and build' - they announced it over a year ago....it's not a hidden strategy... an planned acquisition was also announced... this was why they had the placing...



It's how Bob built Mears plc from a £50k company to a £500m one...100 times increase, and the current backers, representing 70% of TLY all know about the strategy and back it... it's not a hidden strategy...


Your original point was a placing will be 'soon' and why don't I discuss it...
I'm saying that as of now, I haven't heard anything about a placing so there's nothing to discuss..

If other posters mention any potential news then discuss it with them...It's a discussion board, after all...

if you click totally, there was a placing last March when they bought Premier... the placing was fully subscribed by TLY's current backers...
where does Tom mention 'soon'?


If they have any more acquisitions, which, given their stated 'buying and build' strategy, (just as Bob did with Mears plc) then it wouldn't surprise me but I haven't heard anything.. Until the BoD confirm it, then it's press speculation... did you know with Mears, Bob took the company from £50k to £500m through a similar strategy..

and suppose they had another placing to buy another acquisition, so what? It's their stated strategy to 'buy and build'... and the major backers representing 70% back his strategy..


Has anyone else heard whether we are having a placing 'soon'...

TLY financial yr has now ended. They had 3 acquisitions during the year and a placing. Their acquisitions and MyClinicalCoach launch was at end of H1 or during H2.

Hope we get a TU soon.. looking for the BoD Outlook statements and financial figures to back up their 'buy and build' strategy.
