Bank of America urging the sheep to sell DOLE is a bullish indicator.
Yesterday alone, 227.9k shares were sold short off-exchange.
Whoever sold 18 Aug 2023 call options on 2.93m shares at the $12.50 strike wants DOLE below that price at the close today to avoid handing over (all) those shares.

As we progress through the second half of the year, our performance for the first six months gives us confidence in achieving our targeted Adjusted EBITDA for the full year of at least $350.0 million.


Market forecasts for adjusted EBITDA are around $362m. Some slightly odd working capital movements - reduction in net debt not quite as much as I expected. Hopefully will reverse in H2 so that debt comes down to the c.$900m level.

You hit the nail on the head! Revised asset value .175 and the offer .07. I'm at an age I'm trying up my affairs, I think I will either leave it to my executor to sort out or just transfer the shares to someone who is far younger. That should annoy them.

The stars aligned against DOLE from Oct 2021 until Sep 2022. The situation has reversed since. It was announced yesterday that DOLE is to join the Russell 3000 & Russell 2000 indices on 26 Jun 2023. All mutual funds & ETFs that are benchmarked to these indices need to buy the stock.

Couldn't see any immediate reason in the Q1 results for the share price jump, but they did have a more positive feel. 10x 2024 forecasts doesn't feel unreasonable.

Moving logistics to the M1 motorway should reduce transport costs, delays & city centre congestion. It will be awkward for staff living in the city, whose jobs will move 30km out to north county Dublin, where public transport is limited. Hopefully the current Dole site on Mary's Lane will be redeveloped as housing. It is very near the Four Courts Luas stop. Four years after closing, the beautiful Victorian Fruit & Veg Market nearby is being used as secure storage by some of the many builders working in the area.

I wish I'd kept buying as DOLE dived without reason. It's good to see that in addition to revenue growing 4.7% & adjusted EBITDA increasing 21.7% year-on-year, net debt decreased from $1.13b to $1.02b in 2022.

Agreed nothing nasty for me and the $350m excludes the bus being sold. They need to get back to the old over-deliver record. So far the combination and the US listing has not added value.
