Very impressive guidance today pointing to good trading.

Great yield.

Rock solid dividend history. Dividend increased 6% last year.

Impressive group of institutional shareholders.

Growth and Growing company - continually making acquistions.

Remains off the radar.

Fresh produce - not a cyclical product but a staple.

What's not to like?

ALL IMO. DYOR.

Excellent figures from under-the-radar Total Produce.

Dividend up 6%. That's a great increase in their dividend.

Underlying business continues to grow and further acquisitions have been made.

Clearly a company which likes to keep a low profile but one whose place on the European stage for fresh food, fruit and vegestables is getting more and more important.

Continues to edge up slowly but consistently.

Very steady graph. Up about 50% on the last twelve months.

Hopeful of 100p++ by year-end for this highly under-researched stock.

Mmm, must check this out, BUT I'm ever so wary of this biz having had my fingers burnt by Albert Fisher many, many years ago. At least I got out b4 Fidelity LOL. Maybe this is diff. I dunno. We'll c.

I think it's more than 3 or 4 - I just tend to be a bit of a "lurker" on some of the bbs...

Sounds like we have a siimilar investment style though, in terms of a large number of portfolio holdings.

I take a contrarian stance, and so when I read that the ideal portfolio is 8-10 shares, I delight in completely ignoring that advice.

(I won't tell you how many holdings I have, but it's more than 32!)

LOL, dashton42 not that i'm aware of but we do seem to have similar investment ideas. I believe we hold 3 or 4 out of my portfolio of 32.

bb2, do you hold EVERY share in my portfolio?! Seems like it! Good luck with this one - FFY has certainly been a right result.

Yes.

The whole sector is waking up and revolutionising.

The perceptions of a boring fresh foods industry is evolving into that of a dynamic industry.

Personally I don't view Total Produce as a fresh produce company. I see it as a LOGISTICS Company - which happen to be in the wholesale fresh foods and packaging arena.

And they are excellent at that and getting better all the time. Their website shows great examples of their warehousing, distribution, chilling, packaging centres.

Just as Jeff Bezos of Amazon fame worked out that his business is ultimately based on distribution pre-excellence and logistics. This has allowed Amazon to evolve from an online book-seller to the awesome Everything Store.

Total Produce appear in my view to be going the same way.

Certainly the way they are devising and automating their supply-chain and distribution facilities show clearly how they have embraced modern technologies and techniques.

With a turnover of E3bn ++, it remains an enigma to me that hardly anyone in the investing communities are familiar with TP.

Creeping up again.

Following last week's results, highly regarded Irish stockbroking firm, Davey retain their rating/recommendation of OUTPERFORM.

Some notable points from the Davey Note:-

-Better than expected revenue in Fresh Produce

-organic revenue growth impressed at c.8%

-Low volatility at the earnings line, healthy returns and strong cash generation continue to underpin investment thesis

-proposed dividend increase by 10%

-Rearranged its group pension scheme, decreasing liability from E23.7m to E3.9m
