Holland and Barrett now sold .

The M&A interest in fresh foods/health foods continues.

Positive macro back-drop for fresh produce.

Amazon buying Wholefoods for $14bn will in my opinion prove to be pivotal moment in the fresh produce sector.

The mind boggles in the hypothetical situation if Amazon were to marry its unsurpassed logistics supremacy with Total Produce.

Up almost 50% over 12 months with some big gains recently.

Total Produce just keep on growing and expanding.

The growth prospects for TP are underestimated by the market and at a time when processed food is getting a worse and worse press, the demand for fresh produce will strengthen.

Seems that 200p is now in sight, although TP continue to shun the financial limelight and keep a low profile whilst firmly focused on managing their impressive business.

One remembers the fate of their one-time stable-partner Fyffes.

An underappreciated AIM share but a very appreciated investment - in more ways than one. A hidden gem.

Look at that graph.

New All-time-highs being set

Fingers crossed for 200p later this year.

Love it when a share is off the radar.

The demand for fresh produce continues to strengthen.

This is a hidden gem.

Share price has more than doubled in the last 2 year period, making it the best performer in my portfolio - unfortunately it's also my smallest holding!

AGM Statement today.

Fantastic:

"the Group is raising its full year adjusted earnings per share target into the upper half of the previously announced 12.0 cent to 13.0 cent range."

"Total Produce is in a strong financial position and continues to pursue attractive acquisition opportunities to further expand the Group."

Ten percent increase in dividend...........

Ten percent increase in share price based on dividend multiples/yield ??????

A re-rating by the market is perhaps overdue.

Marvellous figures again from Total Produce.

And another whopping 10% increase in dividend.

Further expansion in North America and plans to continue growing the company.

Very encouraging/positive Outlook.

Just great all around.

Templeton have upped their stake from 8% to almost 10%.

The institutions know a good thing when they see it.

My guess is that Total Produce is ripe for a take-over approach in the not too distant future judging by M&A in this sector and the recent acquisition of one-time twin, Fyffes.

In my view, yes.-In the fullness of time.

I personally would prefer to wait and see Tot Prod grow in value over time though rather than see it get taken out with an early and cheap offer. But not sure that will happen as TOT have built a power-house of fresh produce distribution and will now be looking attractive to predators given its size and importance.
