The $2m is definitely not coming back nor is it the stepping stone to anywhere. To be written off in due course. I think they are obliged to notify tomorrow, as they had to either no later than or before the end of today. Will be fun to see the mental gymnastics that the impoverished lot come up with to cope.

Sage, very quiet on the other thread; in fact a bit busier on the sensible side.

If TOM did not RNS on 28th then Friday 3rd would be the most consistent.

There is of course just a risk that the landlord is the cause of the delay. The landlord will be fully aware of the problems and has declined to extend. They would have the right to take the deposit now. Potentially better than rattling up more legal costs. Would that then crystallise the Valkor loan?

No my friend, that is funny. As I read it again I am smiling, actually hard not to understand it other than a bit of levity. You lot have just been duped and lost your money and resist accepting reality. I just remind you of your conscience and hubris, and don't take it all that seriously. Seems like some on here like the little man see their tappy tappies as something all that much more serious.You lot also provide so much material to practice my amateur nonsense on. Provided the shareholders take a kindly view of the company’s adverse fortunes and there are no UK government creditors, there are unlikely to be consequences.
Groat does have some directorships where those boards and shareholders may question the quality of his abilities and this could be on his mind and should be! He has been a very poor chairman here - who disagrees?

Lopo in my view there is little risk to the directors and it will not have crossed their minds.

It is very true that you should never crystallise a problem unless you have an exit route and here there is no problem unless they create one by crystallising the issue. In essence there is nothing wrong with honest failure.

Board may announce cessation of ‘operations217; so as to try to dilute personal risk - that is if there is no path forward. Auditors and NOMAD may be inclined to this course given the circumstances unless of course the Board can put forward a reasoned case to carry on - but this seems unlikely.
