See you were all getting excited again, but the leopard has the same spots. You will be in another round of consternation, then anger which will ultimately be transformed into new optimism. The only consequence will be the passage of time and the further destruction of wealth, but hey ho, at least tomorrow will be better, right?I know I have called the restructuring previously, and we are now very close. Last time they waited until they had 2.8bn for a 125:1 split. If we use this as a reference, the next cash call will be with a consolidation or the penultimate before the capitulation and rebirth of the new agile equity structure with another 5 years of shameless wealth destruction ahead of it. What chumps!

These little pre-delay RNS, pre-dilution price fluffs are getting more and more emphysemic. What a pitiful attempt to bolster the ponzi pricing. You are all self anointed share picking gurus, so you will know the conclusion of ever low highs and lower lows. If it does not scare you too much. Go to the graph function and pick a timeline of say 5 years. Scary stuff I know. Perhaps, you ought not to. The share price equivalent of a slasher horror movie. Ouch!

I think it might help if some large share-holders gave some guidance.

'A deal like this' Only Potter and Groat could have allowed themselves to be sucked into this deal by friend BYLE. He saw them coming, two naive, non engineering 'experts' who threw themselves blindly and willingly into this partnership - only it wasn't a partnership and Potter set about lending your money to friend BYLE without the slightest idea of what he BYLE had in mind. Just tell your colleagues how good it was and demonstrate how foolish you are.
Just wait till the audited accounts arrive and work out how much money has and is pouring down the drain. Where are the assets - simply there are none. Expenditure and more expenditure ie loss after loss. You for one must be so foolish not to see this. It says little for investors' intelligence and perhaps that is the cause of the problem. Groat and his co non execs, whatever they think of Potter will run rings around you lot and you remain there unconcerned because you do not see what is so
blatently obvious.
The next days are destined to be amusing if nothing else - you are trapped and whatever Vauch threatens to do, forget it. The winners are the Directors and when they decide to pack it in they will walk away with as much as they can justify without a thank you. They are the smart ones and you - well next time walk away.

Have you ever considered that a 'company that has inflated its shares in issue from 25m to 2bn in 4 years is not a place one should be putting your limited investment capital? Have you ever considered that a 'company' that has one employee, with a CV which reads like the business equivalent of Peter Sutcliffe's diary, no qualifications and the demeanour of a window cleaner, is the person you want to be managing your limited investment capital? Have you ever considered, that a 'company' with 2bn shares and such bountiful opportunity has not one of its board members owning any meaningful equity stake, and perhaps therefore is not a place one should be putting your limited investment capital.

Reichsmart let us take it step by step. TOM are always late and the next RNS will be about buying a couple more months.

Should a third party be daft enough to strike a deal then you will have to look at the detail. What is the return on capital. How conditional is it etc.

It wont take much to call an egm.
Members' power to require directors to call general meetings (sec303 - sec304)
The directors must call a general meeting if so requested by the holders of 5% of the voting shares (or 5% of the voting rights if there are no shares). (The figure was reduced from 10% to 5% by the Companies (Shareholders' Rights) Regulations 2009 (S.I. 2009/1632), reg. 4(2).

damac that was a well written post. I expect most have come to the same conclusion. It's a shame lopo could not have got a deal like this together when he was at Tomco, still those that can do.

Just for fun I am writing lopo, fenners66, the diddymen etc new posts after funding is announced.

1. The funding is a scam. There is no money it’s just a con.
2. It’s a sh1t deal, tomco will never see any money.
3. Ok they have done the deal, but it will never get to production.
4. The share price is going to an all time low after that horrendous deal.
5. Shareholders have been sold down the river, terrible, tomco should be suspended.

etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Haha Mixi, years ago we said that CICC was dodgy, would you agree with us now? One more year and it will have been suspended for 10 years.

Fatboy is fatboy for a good reason and anything he touches is unlistable.

Diddymen, it is still ALL about funding CORT plants (or Greenfield's version of CORT plants), and (latterly) funding the in-situ wells programme. It now just a case of a different means of achieving that outcome. To date, Tomco have always been a development company and the best laid plans of development companies often change as they progress down the road.

Have you ever considered that the deal being sought 12-18 months ago was along the lines of securing sufficient funding to build the CORT plants in return for equity in Greenfield, say anything between 20-50%, and that Greenfield from that point would be responsible for the building and commissioning of plants, with all the pressures, grief and risk that goes with it.

Then have you ever considered since the above discussions with potential lenders commenced, another potential income stream for TS2 has been uncovered, i.e. the in-situ wells programme. Have you ever then considered that the funder who was initially prepared to go ahead with the first scenario has since rethought their position and offered more funding but on a different strategy. Have you considered that the funder came back to the table and said.....

....I tell you what, I really like the opportunity here and I'm now prepared to take on more of the risk for more of the return. I propose that I will form a JV with other interested parties to provide all the necessary funding and resources to build the plants, build the in-situ wells, and cover the costs of operation and maintenance over their entire lifespan, in return for a greater stake in Greenfield (say anything between 70-85%), leaving Tomco with a free carry of 'x'% in Greenfield and no further financial obligations over the lifespan of the projects.

For me, the second scenario is far better for Tomco and the shareholders. For Tomco not have evaluated such a change in strategy would have been negligent, and if it comes to pass as has been alluded to in the recent RNS, it will be to Tomco's/J.P.'s credit for being open-minded to considering varying strategies of achieving a satisfactory outcome for all involved.

Look at Mr Little. He is in full flood today. But nobody can really take seriously a character who queues up with his kids in tow to inject state venom into his system believing it would protect him from a runny nose and cloak him in a virtue robe. What an utter imbecile. Don't get a d-dimer test done as you will never sleep again. Like lambs to the slaughter, both metaphorically and literally. Dear me what a dope!
