09/2/2023 11:39 | I honestly do not mind someone having a different opinion but when they keep repeating the same stuff and becomes zealots then you have to wonder why? Fenners has given up weeks of his life to post over 1300 posts, over many years, written 100,000's of words because he cannot be wrong. It's not because he and his mates want to save us or indeed future investors. Some have a cause like lopodop, some just follow others like Diddymen and others just want to be nasty. However, in all of this there is always two sides to every story. Very soon one will be proved right and the other wrong. That is when you will get your definition of success fenners. Until then can't you just shut up - of course you can't because you do not have an off switch and because you have an ego the size of a small planet! | the diddyboys
09/2/2023 10:59 | I say let them carry on, it is doing wonders for the share price. Onwards and upwards. | ajj2003
09/2/2023 10:54 | All this decamping work is doing no good. Going blue again. People simply see right through these idiots now. It all old hat tactics. | rmart
09/2/2023 10:52 | Type faster boys, the tide is strong! | stuart little
09/2/2023 10:40 | fenners it's the future you have got wrong - simples - you believe one thing and will regurgitate that story until you are blue in the face, whilst we believe something different will happen. Time will tell. | the diddyboys
09/2/2023 10:17 | SL The other day you acclaimed Groat re HARL - that situation has altered for the moment and he has an uphill task to stabilise the position as a largish investor has decided to withdraw wholly or in part. If TOM fails to pull off the 'agreement' he will have two fires smoking - and his credibility will really suffer. Things change very quickly! | lopodop
09/2/2023 09:36 | I really urge the gamblers to read the accounts of Reform Energy Plc. Honestly go back and read say 3-5 years of them - it does not take long. If you have (actually) read Tomco's accounts and RNS's you will recognise the phrases.... Then wonder... Those words in those accounts are JP's not the words of the unbelievers on this board. Look what happened. Look what happened to Directors' remuneration when funds arrived from Lendy. I guess you could say , but this time its different.... but I started forming an opinion about whether TOM was an investment , what about 3+ years ago ? No projects underway since and the share price reached an all time low, show me what have I got wrong? | fenners66
09/2/2023 08:17 | Total delusional tosh. Dreamer or charlatan, we will perhaps never know. But to suggest that there is any latent nett value in the sorry leases they own is just an untruth. Whether knowingly or naively spread, it really does not matter. The recent RNS that started to talk to this 'farm in' is just another ruse to keep some narrative steam in the engine after the litany of previous had run out of gas. Utter nonsense, but as ever only time will be the ultimate exposure. But as night follows day, so it will turn to pass. But as I have stated previously the baby minds that have bought in, need to accept the narrative or are just very silly. Pick your hat to wear! | thesageofsaint
09/2/2023 07:38 | It's a farm in to include 2 plants being funded and built. Of course attention is currently focussed on the terms and timing of said farm in. To suggest a delist is of course ridiculous. The farm in will include up front payments and, should the drilling be successful, revenues within 6 months. Tom have many other acres within their portfolio that, with a war chest, could be explored. Hope that helps. | stuart little
09/2/2023 07:23 | Fenners another week gone (unless they are burying bad news on a Friday). As you point out there is rarely any discussion on CORT now and the narrative has migrated to a farm in. The only asset that TOM can bring to a farm in is a wildly over valued 10% deposit on the acreage. Any potential and sensible partner will leave the negotiations until after the event. Should a deal ever be 'done', presumably at that point TOM delists unless it is going to raise funds for another wonder fuel. Goulding1215 might be able to introduce JP to Stewart Bromley of the delisted CICC who is a confirmed alchemist. | the diddymen
08/2/2023 22:10 | "There is no guarantee over the ability to secure additional funding, nor is there any guarantee of the continued support of the company's creditors" Wise words JP. As the gamblers will tell us , all those caveats are just regulation , don't worry about them , they are always included...... Except when they really are meant and the company concerned actually goes into administration / liquidation | fenners66
08/2/2023 21:39 | It seems JP was allotted shares but so what? Probably successful by finding opportunities. So has he given up with UTAH but just gone along with the purpose of fund negotiation to keep the players and board interested. Delay, delay and more delay has been the apparent achievement up to now. Unless there is now a deal and DAMAC believes there is, it does cast doubt about JP's future with TOM. | lopodop
08/2/2023 21:16 | Any way back to a simple question - define successful ? | fenners66
08/2/2023 21:15 | Because I raised it here. Now since everything was going to be done and dusted last year for TOM anyway there was no issue with any demands on JP's time and focus... But nothing was done and dusted and still isn't . Just delay after inevitable delay. Even the dreamers have seemingly completely given up on "their $100m CORT idea" I say their as I always said it was at least $150m , now already more likely $200m and even more of a pipe dream. Said that from the start and the dreamers would not have it, no one believes it any more ? So given that nothing is done , why is he being touted as a major part of a team for 2 new companies ? Has he actually put his own funds in Braveheart ? How does that contrast with TOMCO? | fenners66
08/2/2023 21:12 | If JP is paid to act as full time CEO, is there a conflict if he is involved with other companies simultaneously? May be not but does it work in practice. | lopodop
08/2/2023 20:58 | Braveheart was discussed last October on the main thread. Do keep up. | stuart little
08/2/2023 20:55 | Define successful .... ? | fenners66
08/2/2023 20:55 | Courtesy of Braveheart "John Potter Director John is an accomplished Chief Executive of AIM-listed TOMCO Energy PLC and a successful project manager with many years of experience working within the energy sector. He has a wide range of skills, knowledge and industry connections. He is proficient in identifying, understanding and managing projects and applying optimal mitigation strategies." Proficient in mitigation..... There were "mitigating circumstances" as to why TOMCO blew so much of investors money on massive losses and no progress .... etc. etc.... | fenners66
08/2/2023 20:53 | Its not a comedy website ? What we do...... loads of words etc..... Projects ..... I was interested in reading all their stuff.... Blank ! News..... Blank ! Seems like JP has not lost it then.... | fenners66
08/2/2023 20:43 | Ace and FENNERS Well spotted - the intrepid JP - the 'accomplished' etc etc is a director of the Braveheart set of companies - his pretty face appears on the bumph so he is clearly a very busy operator. No doubt Groat has ok'd this or has he - does he know? May be JP will use this as an exit route from TOM if and when the reorganisation takes place. There must be a sense of frustration at board level between the CEO and the others so investors beware / take care. | lopodop
08/2/2023 18:04 | Wow look at that chart at GILD acey! Goldenballs bleeding you dry! Chart is almost as bad as diddys XTR. Tom on the up! You should have piled in here, not funding Becks another house in Miami... | stuart little |
