09/3/2022 14:38 | I don't understand your point ref water. The Utah drilling teams do not shut down for a bit of snowfall. Unsurprisingly they are quite used to it and their equipment winter proofed. Not an issue, especially for these relatively shallow drills. | stuart little
09/3/2022 14:34 | I thought part of the reason for drilling was testing for water? | ducky fuzz
09/3/2022 14:34 | No ducky. My understanding is that due to the chosen locations the cold/snow is not an issue for this drill. | stuart little
09/3/2022 14:30 | "Ducky Fuzz 9 Mar '22 - 14:17 - 26038 of 26038 Might it be that there is snow on the ground in Utah and that has delayed the completion of the drilling?" When I said in November that the weather forecast was -ve temp until February and Nothing would happen until March earliest - rmart and others said that would be no problem , a bit of ice and snow would not shut them down . now the la la's are clutching at the straw that suddenly the weather might be an issue after all. Guess I was correct then.... So it looks like exactly what I proposed - there will be no income to repay the terms of the loan - by end of May. Another Self Imposed missed deadline - and they still think with this history someone would want to lend $175-200m !! | fenners66
09/3/2022 14:17 | Might it be that there is snow on the ground in Utah and that has delayed the completion of the drilling? | ducky fuzz
09/3/2022 13:00 | Ducky it's just word , phrase or song association , my mind works like that | jaynealex
09/3/2022 13:00 | The yanks are coming | jaynealex
09/3/2022 12:36 | Seems like we could be on the move again , | talais
09/3/2022 12:25 | Or maybe....... Naw, don't really want to say it! | bungeetrader
09/3/2022 12:18 | Hi jay .. bit early for me to join you in what ever you've been drinking. What has Stingray which is a fish got to do with TOMco? | ducky fuzz
09/3/2022 12:09 | Or maybe a big boy is sniffing around Maybe maybe maybe This is Tom Standby for action ! Anything can happen in the next half hour ! Stingray Stingray | jaynealex
09/3/2022 12:04 | Better to.pause and get the best deal going | jaynealex
09/3/2022 12:04 | Or maybe other finance providers are jumping in offering better deals | jaynealex
09/3/2022 12:03 | We are probably renegotiating a better deal or should be | jaynealex
09/3/2022 12:02 | Surely it should be four and four comes to eight as the price of oil has doubled since then ;) | ajj2003
09/3/2022 12:02 | My call is that in these turbulent times because of the changing prices etc etc , the numbers all being redone , possibly the terms of any deal being relooked at etc ...all in our favour | jaynealex
09/3/2022 11:57 | Zac Phillips built the financial model for the funding package whilst working as a consultant. The model was touted around funders for their consideration. With funding, apparently, progressing he agreed to join the board of Tomco. My two and two comes to four on this matter. Hope my maths are good! | stuart little
09/3/2022 11:53 | vauch, what is the latest with the petroteq deal? | rmart
09/3/2022 11:44 | Well a 5000 plant is now equivalent to a 10000 plant with WTI doubling, and it could double again, | talais
09/3/2022 11:36 | yes, west texas almost double that price now. | rmart
09/3/2022 11:35 | Fair play Stuart and the 5000 bopd plant will do just fine ;) | ajj2003
09/3/2022 11:34 | Found it, massive upside now,The Report was prepared using oil and marketable sand price parameters specified by TomCo. The future oil produced and processed through mining operations is assumed to yield three distinct products including asphalt, heavy oil, and diesel. The asphalt price is based on the Argus Asphalt Index price of US$93.64. Heavy oil and diesel prices are based on the 1 December 2021, West Texas Intermediate posted price of US$62.05 and are adjusted for quality and market differentials. Sand produced through mining operations is assumed to be processed and sold as four distinct products (industrial, construction, frac and silica sands). Sand prices are based on the 2019 United States Geological Survey prices for each product. | talais
09/3/2022 11:25 | Let's get walking before we consider running!! 5k will do just fine for starters, with the knowledge that the ramp up to 10k is fairly straight forward. You would assume that permits and the regulatory process in the US going forwards could be less arduous due to the current oil situation. One step at a time though eh? | stuart little
09/3/2022 11:12 | Was the tar sands 2 model on WTI at $60 a barrel, | talais
09/3/2022 11:10 | Any thoughts on Tomco progressing straight to the 10000 bopd plant? The numbers must be looking very tempting given the current worldwide situation. | ajj2003 |
