Hi Damac - that's the subliminal Google effect for you - type in Big Sky and most of the results are for Blue Sky, and it sticks!

Ducky, I reckon that it's all very incestuous - thick as thieves.

Hi Rugs .. It's a mystery. Have they got access to that sort of money? Do they
need the data we have already produced? How did they find out about the various bopd costs? Did PQE tell them? Have they spoken to Valkor?

Rugrat2,

Its Big Sky Resources LLC.

All I can find is a company called Big Sky Oilfield but they are located in North Dakota and not New York.

A bit more blue sky thinking whilst driving home - has George Stapleton had an offer he couldn't refuse to run the Blue Sky subsidiary? Anyone had any more luck than me finding anything out about Blue Sky?

Well fancy that! Another company like the Petroteq system enough to pay $2m for just a 2 plant licence.

The dark side wont like that as they think you cant get oil from oil sands. Another kick in the chops for WILSON2, LOPO, FENNERS and the small man.

Of our bigger trades today we have had .. Top trades earliest.

500,000 0.6378p SELL
500,0O0 0.63P SELL
1,124,318 0.6226P SELL
500,000 0.635P BUY
1,200,000 0.635P BUY
3,269,884 0.6475P BUY

The large definite buy trades add up to way more than the sell trades, So
I am surprised we are still down on the day.

Large mining permits etc are already in place for the proposed Greenfield / Valkor plant and someone mentioned in the past that can take 12 months to get all the permits etc for new facilities.

The Greenfield / Valkor plant will be the first new plant built and the model for the rest to follow. One hell of a PR coup when it all comes together as this is turning into a very hot sector to follow with big boys watching on ;)

So could Blue Sky be the source of cash to build a plant or plants on Petroteq's new lease area? Move some of their lease area on to Blue Sky with a royalty, plus 5% royalty from the plant. A nice earner. Just an idea - Valkor doing well out of the deal, whatever.

December 01, 2021 9:00am EST
SHERMAN OAKS, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 1, 2021 / Petroteq Energy Inc. ("Petroteq" or the "Company") ‎‎(TSXV:PQE)(‎OTC PINK:PQEFF)(FSE:PQCF), an oil ‎company focused on the development and implementation of its proprietary oil-‎extraction and remediation technologies, is pleased to announce the signing of a technology license agreement for the use ‎of its proprietary oil sands extraction ‎technology.‎

The Company has entered into a non-exclusive, non-transferable technology ‎licensing agreement dated for reference October 27, 2021 (the "Agreement") ‎with Big Sky Resources LLC ("Big Sky"), a company based in Rye, New York. The ‎Agreement grants to Big Sky the right to use Petroteq's proprietary patented ‎technology to design, construct, operate and finance oil sands extraction plants ‎for up to two locations in the continental United States. Under the Agreement, ‎Big Sky has agreed to pay Petroteq a one-time, non-refundable license fee of ‎US$2 million, which will become payable upon the commencement by Big Sky of construction of its first ‎plant. The Agreement further provides that Big Sky will pay Petroteq a five ‎percent (5%) royalty on the net revenue received by Big Sky from the ‎production, sale or other disposition of licensed product from the plants, for ‎so long as Petroteq continues to hold enforceable and protected intellectual ‎property rights in the licensed technology in the United States.‎

Pursuant to the Agreement, Big Sky is obligated to engage Valkor LLC (or an affiliate named by Valkor) as ‎the sole and exclusive provider of engineering, planning, and construction ‎services for all oil sands plants built by or under the direction or on behalf of ‎Big Sky. Big Sky has indicated it will work closely with Valkor to identify ‎plant locations in the State of Utah. ‎

Dr. Gerald Bailey, Petroteq CEO, commented, "If Big Sky successfully ‎advances its plans to develop, build and operate up to two oil sands plants ‎utilizing our technology, the Company would have a potential long-term ‎revenue stream through a royalty. I believe that our technology offers an eco-friendly means ‎of oil production. This is a sound environmental approach to be a green energy ‎solution for extracting the oil from the soil. Our ability to license this ‎technology provides us with the opportunity to potentially realize non-‎disruptive sources of income for the Company, while giving licensees like Big ‎Sky the ability to develop attractive oil sources for the benefit of the ‎communities being served".‎

Sorry for confusion of last post ref.
To me it seems they are trying to make themselves less attractive but that is dangerous as holders may just take up the first offer on the table.

It was about PQE

Vauch/Freedom97,

If Strand decide that the permit being granted by DOGM (allowing drilling to commence) would be deemed price sensitive news, then the first news we get on it could just be that the permit has now been awarded. Or if not deemed price sensitive, then you would expect first news in an RNS saying the permit has been granted and drilling has now commenced.

Point to note here, IF the awarding of the permit does have to be announced then by the very fact that we haven't received such news as yet tells you that the hold up on it is at DOGM and outwith the control of Greenfield etc.

Hi V .. In the last PQE podcast I watched he seemed very upbeat for the future.
You'd have thought they'd got someone in with experience in the field.

It may be that they are being sold and won't need him. Hope so as I'd like to
see you do well.
