Do you really think AJ was bought out cheaply? Without knowing any of background or detail, he must be laughing at all those invested. Do you really believe TOM is going to take off - isn't the case this is for dreamers and wishful thinkers. Commonsense no less!

You would of thought his interest would be elsewhere, unless of course he was cheaply bought out against his will and is continually bearing a grudge of not being involved in the good things to come.

AJ must surely have been quite smart to have persuaded the Board to part with £150k of shareholders' money. Some may know the exact circumstances for his departure - probably a mixture of good and bad. Given that he has probably done better money wise than any other officer / shareholder in recent years, do you really think he is the least bit concerned about this board. In fact his departure may have been a clear signal to investors of troubles ahead.

Given JP's stated intentions for December, surely his dedicated and loyal supporters should be demanding that the chairman steps up and tells shareholders where TOM is at this moment in time rather than remain silent as is the usual TOM PR technique. DAMAC ask the chairman what is or is not happening rather than behaving like a headless chicken and posting frequent suppositions. Has TOM run out of cash and if so is SB being asked to lend more because a placing is likely to inflict pain on the share price?

damac - I'm not sure that any permits will appear against M0470032. I can't check just now but whilst trawling through the files I didn't come across any doc for the boreholes on tract A that NorWest arranged for the previous owners back in 2012(?? that year may be wrong). I'm really not sure where any permits will appear - logic tells me the Utah Oil and Gas Live search, but nothing so far and no sign of changes on satellite imagery (most recent yesterday)
When they do drill I just hope that they go on through the Asphalt Ridge sandstones below the Rim Rock. These do not figure in the Nor West report but cores taken in the section west of tract D show oil in place amounting to about 40% of the Rim Rock, so not to be sneezed at. I'll try to post a link to the relevant doc this evening.

"Petroteq/Valkor sells final product to Foreland and buys solvent from Foreland. The final product goes to a refinery in Nevada. The trucks that pick up the final product are not heated; Petroteq just heats up the product enough to truck it to Nevada. They have sent 350 tons of sand to Goodwich Mud Co. Goodwich is testing the sand to determine a good use for it, perhaps for fracking or cement. If the sand is too damp, it is returned to Petroteq to be dried again. The plant loses some solvent and bitumen (1-1.5%) into the sand. Valkor stated that to recover more bitumen, they would need to use a different solvent, such as toluene."

"During the closeout meeting, Valkor stated that they are also in the business of selling acrylic polymer. They sell the polymer mixed with water or mixed with tar sands or recycled asphalt. They sell it to counties and road construction contractors."

It is equivalent to a corporate payday loan.

That was the lowest hurdle that TOM had to jump and they have expended a lot of energy on it. Shareholders need to cross their fingers and toes and hope that Valkor are altruistic and nice.

If there is a delay on the drilling - how will that impoact on the short term financing?

Just another question - do you think that the NOMAD exercising warrants early was a show of strength or weakness?

I don’t know if many people realise that both the oil in Utah WTI is now back to $72 dollars and the sand is sold in dollars, that TOM’S value must have gone up by 10% recently purely in dollar/pound terms

Always good to give the long suffering a few options.

It looks as if one or two on Stalag TOM realise that changing a strategy and delivering the drilling rigs takes a bit of time for one man.

Small matter of working capital and then $110+m finance beckoning. No problem for that one man who has nothing else to do.
