Lopo, a company must be in control of its destiny. SB is not a TOM employee and will look after his interests. So if you are correct it is cross fingers and hope that they are best of friends.

Drilling start could be on hold for months and months for many obvious and less obvious reasons. Despite what has been said ad nauseam, there has to be a placing of one kind or another very soon to stabilise the ship!

Yes, goulding don't get me wrong, I am also wanting to hear the info behind those points you mention, but priority for me is just getting the announcement that the drills on the wells have started as a successful outcome from that will ensure the ongoing viability of the company a lot quicker than waiting for an operational CORT plant for the same reason.

Are you sure you are not too trusting of JP etc? TOM is not a well run company or do you disagree. TOM has played into SB's hands and the big question is how does this affects investors. The non execs should have been more wary of the risks of taking SB's cash - let's see where TOM is at this time next year!

Agreed Damac, however, the Company still haven’t learnt that the longer they go without any kind of an update, the lower the share price drops. What happened to:-

Publication of the Site Reserves report generated by Netherland Sewell.

Announcement on off-take agreements being signed relating to the in-situ extraction wells.

Announcement on off-take agreements being signed relating to oil & sand production from the 5k CORT plant.

That might help.

We are all in the same boat jaynealex, the waiting is soul destroying at times. Forgetting for a moment all the other good things that are happening between Tomco,Valkor,Greenfield and others, for now I just want to hear that the drilling of the exploration wells has commenced, and on that point I refer back to a previous post saying....'I wish DOGM would get their finger out and issue the permit'.

You need to be extremely patient and not rush. This is going to be a long journey and natural forces will probably see the price fall back to 40's. But if you can wait years rather than months, there is a fair chance of success. Much will depend on SB so it is difficult to project further at this time.

This share has a track record of getting us all excited ,giving a rough timetable of good news to come , then drifting ..must be a traders dream !

With all the good news to come down the road will it be any different great spikes then fall backs , continuing to be a traders share

This is the transition they should be thinking about and managing ... otherwise a contested takeout will be the only way for everyone to get a good exit price

Well I made a last payday top up and was glad to get more " before the price went up " at about 0.67p , here we are and I'll soon me able to do a pay day top.up at 0.55p ??

In the big scheme of things ...just bloody annoying , to say the least !.

Some of you here are too trusting of JP and the non execs and this is the message conveyed to them time and time again. Notwithstanding anything that happens between now and 31/12, is it the case that the pronouncements made recently were misleading, over optimistic etc. Damac and co need to be more proactive in holding the board to account rather than going along with what they are fed. Until TOM's chairman learns to act as chairman, TOM will dither along and JP will continue to operate in customary style.
Do Proactive endorse this carry on?

SB is the key player and has his own agenda. So LET's see how this will work for investors. Next year's targets may necessarily change due to circumstances outside TOM's control.
But if investors can wait there are fair prospects for ensuing years if the funding can be achieved. This may require a complete overhaul of management and moving to longer term goals in line with Directors'option dates.

lopo in Mixi's case it is better to say nothing.

The bottom line is that TOM have one employee. He has to deliver a $110+m project by the end of next year. He has no spare cash. He has a drilling campaign to deliver. The company is in hock to another company which should be delivering the drilling, etc, etc

...........and Mixi moans about the lack of an RNS. Who would ever want Mixi as a shareholder (or reichy for that matter; hang on a sec has reichy sold out?)

Sometimes it is safer to say nothing and let events unfold. You will know the audit is underway and will necessarily require BOD detailed attention to meet timetables.
