Yes but has mr 5 million changed his mind?

We do need another positive rns now that the land has been bought. There is so much pending as Damac has pointed out.

“We expect the permitting process for the production wells to be completed in Q1 2022, following the drilling of three exploration wells intended to occur in December 2021.”

Are the three drill to satisfy 3r party that the goods are down their.
Or will the three holes be used as extraction when approved.

I have been sceptical of TOMco previously after a few false dawns but credit where’s it due they got the land agreement in place.

Now the real hard work begins, a potentially game changing time for the company over the next 6 months.

Mashman is right, it is a great swing trade as reichyboy knows.

Swing means win on the up lose on the down, but it does not tell you much about underlying value.

If you guys are in this for a bagger then you shouldn't obsess with every buy and sell. I know diddly squat about the financials but I know this is a great swing trade. some of those mills that go through are mine and I know that others are doing the same

There has been more money coming into the stock than going out over the last last few days, and the recent rise is looking more like the start of a trend than a weak spike

Good luck guys

I posted this a month ago. I needs amending to reflect the drilling is now happening sooner than previously anticipated. Similarly, I think other things may have changed in the order of things happening. I am hoping to update this in a day or two.

damac9 Oct '21 - 09:37 - 23302 of 24161 Edit

I was asked a question on the other thread on what I see as the sequence of events between now and January 2022.

I have copied my answer below for anyone who doesn’t ever go into that thread for obvious reasons. The following is my view only and should not be taken as gospel, do your own research.

My estimated sequence of events between now and January are…

Completion of the initial 10% purchase of Tar Sands Holdings II LLC.

Publication of the Site Reserves report generated by Netherland Sewell.

Announcement on off-take agreements being signed relating to the in-situ extraction wells.

Announcement on off-take agreements being signed relating to oil & sand production from the 5k CORT plant.

Securing of the $110m finance required to build & commission the 5k CORT plant and the further 90% of Tar Sands Holdings II LLC.

Completion of the remaining 90% purchase of Tar Sands Holdings II LLC.

Commencement of drilling the wells for the in-situ extraction process.

Certainly is and I wonder if they will be in for some more tomorrow.

What might be very useful is if someone (think it was rmart from memory) could update the expected news this year and include the additional information detailed in this weeks RNS, such as the start of drilling of three boreholes next month etc.

Tomco has a very bright future with Valkor as the sugar daddy ;)

Anyone can be taken in by last minute open ended announcements. Some may be impressed - others more sceptical and who will be reading inter lines. JP makes it sound relatively simple - possibly too simple. Let's see where we are in two months ie where shareholders are?
A placing must be expected very soon - interesting to find out how much! One thing that remains puzzling is SB's continuing involvement - may be there are some interesting side agreements that have yet to reach daylight!
Any way keep up the propaganda and whatever you do, do not doubt your plentiful convictions but try not to scourge those who are rightly dubious.
By the way why would SB be the financial provider when the BOARD have poured in absolutely nothing. Think! Think!

So add any drilling delay and when could any money come from drilling oil ?
Test has to come first.
No guarantees it would be successful either.
If it was that easy then as I said earlier why have TSHII not done it /gone bust?

If they find oil what depth ?

The HCD report talks of depth of 914m

How long does it take to get there ?
Clock is ticking..

What method is going to be used , does it involve any fracking ? Steam injection ? Does it upset the water table and local protestors ?
Does it have a permit , that paragraph suggests not...

Could there be objections and ...... a delay ?

Most ironic part is that its all about raising money , drilling dirty oil , to fund CORT which is supposed to be CLEAN....

Still a hydrocarbon though.....

sl - let me remind you of TOM's history of deadlines....

Ancient history and £20+million in losses is not necessary here , yes there is a pile of missed deadlines ...

Instead lets turn to recent events....

TOM gives itself 4 months to conclude funding of $2m for a would be 10 % interest in land by agreeing an option and saying the funding options would include drilling...
Despite some being led to believe it would already have funds in place from previous fund raises..

It FAILS to meet the deadline and extends a month
It FAILS to meet its second self imposed deadline and extends 6 weeks
It announces a day after the six weeks is up

In total - without any arrangement made to repay it takes 6.5 months and has 15% in charges due in 6.5 months time

That is $225k
So in 6.5months it owes Valkor $1.725m

Now out of the blue without an agreed partner it says test drilling is starting in DEC.

So what if it is 2.5m late this time as well ?

Lets assume the Dec drill was 30th and the weather is worse in Jan anyway...

Add 2.5 months delay as is their recent performance and that was just delay for sitting around a table.. and what do you get ?

I have never mentioned Easter either...

There is an irony here. The likes of Mixi and one or two others on the deluded thread have touted another dog for years PET. PET have never drilled 1mm having blown £23m in over 20 years. Along comes TOM who had not even discussed drilling 2 months ago and here they are allegedly on the cusp of a drill.

Not sure if I would want to rely on Valkor for the drilling, if, as the deluded suggest, TOM's financing will be through the drill. Valkor might just be tempted to kebab them.

Anyway plenty of popcorn in the cupboard.

SL - fn said he was not going to bother reading about Valkor buying any land as it was irrelevant...
Clearly its not on 2 counts

1, its massively cheaper than the land that TOM want to buy. Why do I say want?
Because they have a pre-set agreed deadline to find another (what is it?) $16.25m by end next year.

As I have asked all along , what happens if they do not find the $16+m?

2, They are the party funding the $1.5m strangely enough with the money that TOM gave them , then they have been touted as the likely drilling partner on here for months.

But Valkor have their own drilling commitments 3 wells by end of March 22.

However in terms of commitments around this area Valkor have been the "unreliable boyfriend" already.
They did nothing with Petroteq for 18m until TOM came along and funded it.
They did nothing with DCD for over a year and then decided to buy the land instead.

So who's going to drill for TOM then ?
