Hopefully they resist the bid with a thorough strategic review / vision statement and a hefty valuation

The bid goes hostile , flushes out other players ...and alot more punters get to find out about the technology and potential

This should definately increase the attention Tom / Greenfield gets and it's SP

Whether it goes hostile or not ( better if hostile for price ) ...if the bid is successful ... Eyes move to Tom

Then we need our strategic review / vision and broker note with a hefty valuation ... Then we may get further news on our controlling interests intentions

Better not to be first to be captured ..once the news is out ...others may Scrabble to get in

Should all be good for the share price !!

But for now let's get this lease option purchased ...come on Tom

An extremely good earner for the landlord who must see this going on and on until TOM money runs dry. The TOM board must be taken for a bunch of fools in this situation - just paying more and more for what? But of course the board continue to win in this scenario so it's a very good earner for the directors. Pity about the investors though. Such is AIM.

Lopo it is in the landlord's interest to keep the 10% deposit going. Take as much cash as they can from TOM and then if TOM fail they have a willing buyer next door - albeit that it will be at a significantly lower rate. In the unlikely event of TOM succeeding they get a premium rate for their land.

My bet would be another fudge but this time with the landlord.

Shareholders happy because they can dream on.
Directors happy because they can draw their remuneration and it could give them an option to get another placing away
Landlord happy
3rd party happy

....and no elephant in the room. What could possibly go wrong?

Apologies if already posted from LSE, but I found it interesting:-

We should know very soon the valuation of the intellectual property for the world first Petroteq technology. Petroteq recently announced that they had instructed independent valuation. Have no doubt this will be included in the Board response to Viston hostile bid. This response to shareholders is required under SEC regulations by next Tuesday at very latest - could come earlier.

Goulding, A question I see they are sending out letters again but cant find any value detail and it is Tuesday.

the board will be content that just the softees remain - another yarn will do to keep them appeased - continuing negotiations, small placing perhaps to keep the books balanced, appointment of another non exec who has exceptional experience of the industry and further option extension payment to keep the land deal on the counter. All sounds pretty normal and buys Further months of existence. Of course usual caveats apply to protect the Board.
Could one suggest that non execs take 6 months pay moratorium - that will go down well - but unfortunately the key drivers for some non execs are personal reward.

Just to remind the wildly optimistic on the other thread. It is D-5 and the relevant extract from the last RNS is as follows:

"The extension of the abovementioned exclusive option to 15 November 2021 has been agreed to facilitate the ongoing funding discussions for the initial 10% acquisition, however there can be no certainty that a suitable agreement will be reached with this or another third party or as to the terms of any such funding."

Quiet on the other thread at the moment. I cannot conceive what might be occupying their thoughts.

Making no comment on the viability of the project, TOM should have gone to the markets 2 months back. They are on the ropes now and anyone dealing with them will know it.

Hopefully all the parties who are dealing with the one employee will be benevolent. The Americans have a reputation for it!

Set to freeze in Vernal Utah from tomorrow, -10c before the end of the month.
-17c in December and January virtually always freezing or a lot worse....

Why would any 3rd party put in $m's now when NOTHING is going to happen until March 2022 at the earliest...

I would tell them it's not worth financing for 3 months (or ever ) ....

15th November about the same time as everyone packs up for the winter ?
