Agai no problem being optimistic but look at the history of Tomco and it’s failure to deliver.
It’s hard to have confidence in the company especially with so many hurdles still to get through before any production can take place.

Online we have 0.555p sell and 0.58p buy for 1 Mill.

Price 0.55p and 0.58p

Edit the 1,000,000 trade was a UT trade. So a buy and a sell. Why the buyer didn't just buy the shares
online confuses me.

SHERMAN OAKS, CA / ACCESSWIRE / October 27, 2021 / Petroteq Energy Inc. ("Petroteq" or the "Company") (TSXV:PQE)(OTC PINK:PQEFF)(FSE:PQCF), an oil company focused on the development and implementation of its proprietary oil-extraction and remediation technologies, today confirmed that 2869889 Ontario Inc., an indirect, wholly-owned subsidiary of Viston United Swiss AG (together, the "Offeror") has commenced a conditional, unsolicited takeover bid (the "Offer") to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company. Petroteq shareholders are advised to take no action in respect of the Offer until Petroteq's Board of Directors (the "Board") has made a formal recommendation to shareholders.

Petroteq cautions its shareholders and potential investors that there can be no certainty that the Offer will be supported by the Board or that any other strategic transaction with any other person will be pursued by Petroteq or ultimately completed. The Board is reviewing the Offer and will make its formal recommendation in response to the Offer as required by applicable securities laws.

Consistent with its fiduciary duties, the Board will evaluate the Offer and Petroteq's options, including continuing to operate the business to drive shareholder value and potentially exploring possible alternative transactions.

The Board continues to believe Petroteq is well positioned to be an industry leader with its one of a kind oil sands extraction technology.

Don’t get to excited, there needs to be a full and positive resources report before this site can be considered suitable.

This may seem like a given, but this would not be the first company to find the land they have acquired is not as good as expected.

No problem being optimistic , but still lots of risks hence the share price.
Still a considerable time period to get into production should the land purchase go well and the land prove to be suitable.

I'm in for the long haul AJ ... The deal and the finance is just the first big step up onto a roadway that could lead to some significant numbers

I want that got across to get more long termers in and get the price moving in a sustainable way not this surge and fall

Jay - get the impression Tomco want the deal signed, sealed and delivered before they start shouting it from the rooftops. Valkor's 29% in Tomco is very important as it is a big deterrent to anyone trying to make a move on Tomco, particularly given what is currently taking place with Petroteq. In for the long haul ;)

Key is the $5 Mill third party finance. Needed before 15th November.

When the land deal / finance is agreed we need a broker note ..highlighting the major steps over the coming years , the expected value of the cashflows and therefore the potential value of the company in the future and how this value firms up as each key stage lessens risk.

I don't understand why the company / controlling interests don't do this ...because it would be a " road map " for current and future shareholders and be a bulwark against any speculative low bids that might come our way
