14/5/2009 21:26 | I sometimes wish that struggling companies would forget the sanctity of the dividend and miss it out rather than lurch further into debt.A good yield is only good if the company doesn't bomb out the next year.Which is clearly , but hopefully not , a risk here. | ![]() wad collector
14/5/2009 16:01 | Sorry, what I meant is maybe all the bad news is in the price at these levels. I've just noticed the results are out - I will have a read. | ![]() sheik yerbouti
14/5/2009 15:48 | Hmm, you thinkso Sheik? The market cap is £2.5m, they have £2.15m in cash. You get the business for nothing. They pay 2p divi say. £126K of the loss was down to Korea and £82k in redundancy costs. They say Korea will make a positive contribution in H2. With no redundancy costs in H2 anf Korera making a positive contribution they say then they could well be in profit in H2 with the lower running costs and no redundancy costs, especially if the market picks up. Doesn't look a bad recovery play to me Sheik. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel
06/5/2009 11:38 | Hmm, they look cheap to me tho Sheik. 2.5m in cash, paying 2p div a year. Significant plant and property assets. Construction market picking up, most construction stocks bounced significantly. Cash this year rose by £1m approx from £1.5m to £2.5m Fully listed so not AIM nonsense and ISAable. XD for a 1p divi on May 26th. Losses down from £550K to £50K Looks extremely cheap to me with all that cash - just a darn shame you can't get any volume at all imo. CR | ![]() cockneyrebel

05/5/2009 11:34 | Yup, been trying to buy all morning but just keep missing it. Stopped at 25p. Not chasing anymore either. | ![]() liarspoker
31/7/2008 10:28 | Mentioned in the Daily Mail p 76 this morning. ...Word is the uinstaller of air conditioning, windows and other fittings in new houses is about to sign a deal with McCarthy and Stone worth around £1.5M over 2 or 3 years. Titon has 2M cash in the bank and plans to open a new facility in South Korea to help with production. This sector obviously isnt flavour of the month but TON looks good value to me. Market cap £3M at 28.5p share price. After tax profit of £0.12M for H1 (versus 0.313M last year). I dont think Id bank on any better then break-even for the FY given recent trading update. But very strong asset backing. Cash = £1.95M Net working capital = £6.2M (no long term creditors) Also £2.7M of freehold property | hugepants

16/4/2008 07:54 | unfortunatelty I don't think the housing slow down is in the price yet, they were struggling with various problems before, any housing slow down is going to add to their woes. | ![]() holts
14/4/2008 01:09 | What's gone wrong?A slow down/fall in Property prices and therefore a drop in new builds but surely this has been overdone! regards | ![]() rainmaker

18/10/2007 13:29 | Net Tangible Asset Value per share is 95.5p according to this site. regards | ![]() rainmaker
18/10/2007 13:27 | Bloodsports-I think you'll find that Tangible NAV is a lot higher (I think around 100p)as Net Working Capital is 76p and that doesn't include the Company's fixed assets. Will check and let you know. regards | ![]() rainmaker
10/10/2007 10:13 | NAV seems to be around the 75-80p range. and they are still a profitable bussness so i would have thought so. But may drop back little after last gains to 83p ish. Dividend is going to have be cut now, but probably good thing in long term. Wonder what the chances of a managment/family buy out? | bloodsports
08/10/2007 16:13 | Have we seen bottom now? | ![]() wad collector
03/10/2007 19:12 | Chorister-It's currently trading around it's liquidation value so I would say Predators are starting to become interested. Really I'm not looking for a takeover but if you're buying at steep discounts to intrinsic value then there will inevitably be interest from outsiders regards | ![]() rainmaker |
