14/5/2007 15:57 | Accsys LSE: AXS Something for the serious investor in the construction / building division. Accsys Technologies PLC is a UK incorporated environmental science and technology company which is developing a range of transformational technologies offering substantial improvements in the cost and environmental impacts of production for a range of everyday materials. The most advanced of these is the process for wood acetylation, which effectively gives softwoods the durability, stability and reliability of the very best hardwoods. Accsys is presently operating a large scale wood acetylation test plant in the Netherlands. This is being used to supply potential customers and licensees across the globe with test quantities of Accoya, the company's branded wood product. Accsys has a further range of other processes which offer potential for future growth. A number of these technologies have existing patent protection or are subject to pending patent applications and all have been either proven at pilot-scale or subjected to independent validation by experts. Accsys is in the process of constructing full-size production plants for two of its technologies. 10/5/2007 17:39 | Two small sells today at 123 and 125 are the only activity all week. Those buy and sell prices are particularily meaningless at the moment. | ![]() wad collector
10/5/2007 09:29 | results ok- divi safe anyway. Results show a slight increase in profits in tight market conditions. Hope they keep capital expenditure under control tho, would like to see that cash pile increase a little. | bloodsports
10/5/2007 08:52 | Solid but unexciting results doubt will do much to the share price However I see the MMs have narrowed the spread -on no volume - to a mere 5p.I'm still not playing! | ![]() wad collector
02/4/2007 18:31 | Yawning spread still there at 6% puts me off any dealing .Becomes a vicious cycle really - spread will only narrow if more dealing! So unless some big news destined to lie in the doldrums for now. | ![]() wad collector
17/1/2007 14:32 | I don't know much about them - bought them on a tip from Siddals last year - I was attracted by their stable 5 yr share price and high yield. Not worth dealing at this spread either way! | ![]() wad collector
17/1/2007 09:05 | Yes it is suprising, they well may go to the AIM market at some point it would make sense. What your take on the results? They seem to be stuck in a postition where they cant improve profits and cant really cover the high dividend. See any change from this position? I was hoping they may buy back more shares and raise earnings per share that way but with rates rising that option is less attractive now. | bloodsports
16/1/2007 13:57 | I guess this suffers from being such a small company that it will always have a wide spread unless there is some significant announcement and hence dealing.Surprising it has a full FTSE listing really - historical I guess. | ![]() wad collector
14/12/2006 09:23 | I want to add with this recent dip , but the current spread is 6% - no way am I prepared to give the MMs that much ! Perhaps will narrow if trading picks up ... | ![]() wad collector

25/10/2006 11:44 | You got a bit of a dip now, you thinking of buying in? i need to see it come a little lower before a add again. | bloodsports
09/10/2006 05:54 | missed the dip earlier in the year to sub 100p should of kept it on a watch list, will keep watching in case it drifts back close to 100p before going ex-divi, but think this is unlikely. Would not be selling if I held, but will take a chance and wait for a better opportunity to buy. regards drectly | ![]() drectly
04/9/2006 15:17 | Hi Guys What you fella's think of the chances of further share buy backs? like a few years ago? or possiblity of a managment take over. In the mean time a nice divi. | bloodsports
11/5/2006 09:25 | Profit warning this morning ewith the interim results. The main reasons seems to be the delay in implementing the new building regulations which have been delayed until October together with the sluggish replacement window market. Prospects for the second half look similar to the first which indicates earnings of 5.7p for the full year. This would be against an unsustainable full year dividend of 7.1p. So it looks like a dividend cut at the final results to say 4.5/5p total for the year or perhaps a similar 2.3p final dividend. Good points from the statement are continuing capital investment, new products coming on stream, increased sales of bought in products ( presumably at a lower margin)and increased exports. I will keep on my watchlist with a possible buy around 90p. kind regards Linhur | ![]() linhur

08/12/2005 09:28 | Preliminary Results: .................... Regulation Change "For the past two years I have been advising Shareholders of the forthcoming changes to Part F of the Building Regulations for England and Wales. It is this Regulation that is the driver for sales of many of our ventilation products, and I am now able to report that the Interim Draft of the document was published in September with a proposed implementation date of April 2006. Although the document is still in draft form, it has given the Company some direction as to future market requirements and has enabled us to commence the development of major new product lines. Although the draft document calls for trickle ventilators to be installed in domestic replacement windows, it is too early to be sure that there will be an overall favourable outcome for the Company." .................... | ![]() piedro
