24/9/2007 11:38 | I don't follow this too closely, but am not comfortable with the combination of the profit warnings and lack of liquidity - does anyone have any idea whether it might become a takeover target? | chorister
19/9/2007 00:10 | Hi bloodsports-sentimen regards | ![]() rainmaker
18/9/2007 09:39 | Still dropping pence by pence. Think it gonna be weak least till the results hopefully a divi cut will stead her. | bloodsports
13/9/2007 09:19 | Not sure i'd rush in now mind! | bloodsports
11/9/2007 13:46 | Curiously , despite no volume today , the spread has dramatically narrowed to 3p- was as high as 15p earlier in yr. | ![]() wad collector
10/9/2007 11:59 | ye i seeing that the same way. probably the right thig too do anyway. the divi been making them struggle for while. | bloodsports
07/9/2007 12:45 | Re Dividend-don't believe they will maintain dividend as uncovered and therefore not sustainable unless they are particularly optimistic about the outlook. Most likely outcome will be a cut regards | ![]() rainmaker
07/9/2007 12:43 | Will I be able to buy at 70/75p?Don't know why but there appears to be a fairly strong seasonal price pattern here, whereby the share price makes it's high for the year in the first half then it's low in the second half regards | ![]() rainmaker
05/9/2007 09:01 | Think the dividend going to have be cut now. Hope next years profits bounce back. One thing worth thinking about is the large individual holdings in the company. | bloodsports
30/8/2007 01:39 | Hi All-Having another look at this Company after a gap of some 5 years or so after it issued a profits warning last Friday. Note that Net Working Capital, a figure I use for it's liquidation value as a Value Investor a la Ben Graham is 76p and that basically, profits wise, it has been treading water for the last 5 years.Average EPS over that period has been 8p per share and applying a conservative p/e of 8.5-for a zero growth Company equates to about 70p per share. Company has a strong balance sheet and a high (historic)dividend yield of approx 8.5% but following profits warning this will be uncovered(estimate that eps will be not less than 2.8p according to their trading statement) and dividend is clearly at risk-probably a compromise of a cut most likely. Investigation ongoing as only preliminary so far but appears significant risk of further downside from current levels of 89p.However feel there will be a buying opportunity at lower levels regards | ![]() rainmaker
29/8/2007 20:25 | Todays drop looks a bit worrying on no news. | ![]() wad collector
29/8/2007 16:22 | Thanks for the info gateside. Must admit I thought there may have been a small upward bounce here, not another drop! | ![]() mrphil
28/8/2007 07:42 | just checked news now-pity, good job they got the cash in the bank. think the strategy of increasing market share and cutting costs about right. wonder how much more they can do. | bloodsports
24/8/2007 22:15 | MrP. The reason that your trade has not shown up on ADVFN is because TON also trade on the 'PLUS Markets', and your trade is probably showing up on there. | ![]() gateside
24/8/2007 15:51 | Dipped my toe in with a few but had to pay 89p and I see the trade isn't showing yet. If I had any spare cash I would grab a few more as the drop looks overdone to me and the divi looks fairly safe. | ![]() mrphil
24/8/2007 11:24 | maybe kami-kasi but bought a few at 85p.If they maintain the div- and they have the cash to do so ,they yield around 8% and they have Simon Knott holding over 19% and he is a very savvy investor. | ![]() meadow50
24/8/2007 08:32 | Yes ; marked down 20 this morning I see with this profits warning. However it is a pure guess by the MM as there have been no trades.Clearly not good news though. Suspicious that a Director sold a fair proportion of his holding a month ago ; pure coincidence of course. I see the Bid/Offer is 85/95. That sort of spread should stop any trading! | ![]() wad collector
09/8/2007 09:09 | Wad collecter- you still tracking them? | bloodsports
28/6/2007 14:13 | Drifted back a little again, if it comes back to much i will buy a few more. Think TON solid but a real plodder. | bloodsports
07/6/2007 09:09 | ye got to admit the spread a right sod, 'ensor' is another with a large spread. | bloodsports
05/6/2007 19:23 | Well at least there has been a bit of trading recently - even if the spread remains as wide as Mr Blairs smile. | ![]() wad collector
04/6/2007 08:57 | John lee mentioned titon on sat- just saying he belives they will come right, but many share holders may die before it happens or some thing along those lines. Seems resonable tho- no problems that he see's. | bloodsports
15/5/2007 09:11 | Has this got any bearing on titon? or a suggestion to look at? | bloodsports |
